We're actually talking about going there sometime soon.  Another couple at the church want to go, so we might make a weekend trip outta it.

HAHA!  We went there for our first date, and he also proposed there 6 months later.  I have pictures of him "swinging" on the vines in the "jungle" from our first date.

That is way too funny, AJ!  First date in the zoo.  I've always thought it was such a cool touch when the guy proposes at the location of their first date or first meeting or somesuch memory-filled location.  *dreamy sappy sigh*

Ben proposed to me on New Year's eve when the fireworks were going off... then fireworks when off in my heart to match them. BOL, talk about sappy! I thought it was great!

We went to the zoo while we were dating, too. We've gone there several times since we've been married, too... it's just something that's clean fun to do that involves some exercise at the same time! Other things we enjoy include bowling (though we're not very good,) PuttPutt, Bookstore browsing, Coffee sampling, and traveling to Spanish-speaking countries in particular!

Fireworks can be horribly romantic.  lol  They can also be awesome fun.  Around here they can be COLD!!!!  Well, not the fireworks themselves, but the weather while we're watching them can be!  lol
