What's your middle name?

Gail.

Actually my full name is Naomi Gail Stillwater Banta -- Stillwater is my Indian name as opposed to my white name.

Do you know a language besides English? If so, how fluent are you? :hi:

I know you do a lot of costuming, do you have a loom and weave your own fabrics also - or work with existing material?  Do you go to (trapper's) rendezvoux?  Do you also do bead/quillwork?  :freaky2:

I did Rendezvous in the past, but have gone medieval.

I weave some and spin some but have yet to do the whole beginning to end process of making my own clothing.   Someday though.

Beadwork yes, quillwork no.

I do finger weave though.

Have you ever made or help make dance clothes/stuff for powwows and such? If so, what do you use in place of *grumbledegrumble* lazy stitch to keep dance stuff from coming apart?!

There's nothing better on the beadwork Chris.   Seriously.   Double thread it and stitch it down multiple times.   Annoying but true.

I usually do sashes, etc...   My pow wow purse is sitting in Indiana until we figure out HOW to get it here without endangered species problems (turtle shell) or if there will be any here.

*grumbles*

Are you coming to OK in June, Nai?

Are you doing anything special for your Birthday?
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Chinadoll

I can't.   Uprising is that month and I"m Marshalling.

Nothing special for the birthday -- did dinner with some people from church and that was it.
