What language is the most beautiful sounding and/or interesting to listen to?
Have you ever had a polo mint?
Have you bought Dutch Blitz for your boys yet?
Are you bringing the boys to Oklahoma?

:beret:

I dunno, probably the Polynesian languages I have heard are most beautiful.

No, I have never had a Polo mint.

No I have not. :)

No I'm not. :D

SippinTea

*grin* I'll let you figure out which answer this response goes to:

Bummer. :sadbounce:

Yick.  I thought it was gross.  I like the blue mint - the original is OK too.

What word has the letters OEI in consecutive order, with no consonants between them?
Have you read the hugs thread lately?
Have you ever caught a scorpion?
Have you ever done rock-climbing (as in, using technical gear)?
What are two songs that hold special meaning for you, and why?
Do you consider yourself talkative, or quiet?

Ummm...Onomatopoeia?

Nope.

Nope, squished a couple.

Never done any technical rock climbing.  Scrambling around in the woods, sure, climbing up ravine faces and such, sure.

I'll get back to ya on the songs... :)

I'm usually pretty quiet, but just get me started and I'll talk your ear off.  Then I'll shut up and not talk again for a good bit.  Cause I'm weird like that.

can you play the guitar?

I twang at it a bit, just for the fun of it - but I haven't gotten serious about it yet.  Play?  Probably not anything recognizable :)

how do you feel about credit cards?
have you ever had a pet fish?
how many pairs of shoes do you have?
do you like lava lamps?

Don't have one, and probably won't ever, if at all avoidable.  After all, one can hardly gripe about the evils of usury if one enables others to do it :D

I did have a pet fish, but I hugged it too hard :(

pair of basketball shoes, pair of running shoes, pair of casual sneakers, some sandals, pair of dress shoes, pair of casual shoes...six pair, looks like.  Did have some steel toe work boots, but I left that job so I gave them to a friend who was starting a job where he needed them.

I don't mind them, but I've never owned one.  I guess that means "I am ambivalent toward lava lamps".

:D

It was actually an octopus ;P

The Purple Fuzzy

Glad it wasn't a mermaid. ;)

Tsalagi

Me too.  It would have been just awful to have hugged a mermaid... :hypocrite:

The Purple Fuzzy

I was thinking it would be horrible to kill her cause you squeezed her too tight.  :biglaugh:

Tsalagi

No mermaid I have ever hugged has complained about being squeezed too tight...and that's the honest truth.  :teeth:

If I really, REALLY don't want to do it, I usually just say, "That's something I don't really want to do".  If it's something I sorta don't want to do - depending on the company it involves - I may decide not to be lazy and go do it anyway.

Hmmm, not sure.  In what context?  If someone I thought was my friend turned out not to be, I'd try not to be disappointed and just go on about my business.  Someone who put on a personal front and was not who they represented themselves to be, I'd probably feel a little sorry for them...I dunno, just depends.  Someone who did that in a business sense or with malicious intent would be asking for it.

Eh, clean all the ink off my chin, resolve not to chew any more pens, and go get another one? :D

iridiscente

You could leave the ink on your chin to fill in around the scruff.

I think you look better with dark eyes.... REG!

It was a superhero design I was working on, I like to make comics using photos as a base - but that requires that I actually do the detail work and not be lazy.  Using real people in pictures gives me much greater a range of facial expression and emotion, plus it forces me to really learn the planes of the face in relation to head tilt, plus anatomical wedging, blocking and balance like never before!  Also peeps who stink at drawing hands and feet (including a BUNCH of pro comic book artists lol) should use a digital cam (or life drawing, but you get a lot of weird looks asking people if you can draw their feet) to get as many pics of hands and feet as possible and use that method to learn.  Eh, if you can't tell I do tend to jabber on about stuff I really dig...lol

I wear a hat every now and then if I'm playing ball, or working outside.  Very rarely.

Ummm...tell them you'll replace them with a five Y/O who knows how to follow direction?  LOL cause IMO that's what makes one responsible; see what needs to be done, not want to do it - and do it anyway - 'cause it needs to be done, regardless of the money.  If it's even job stuff we're talking about here. *ponders*  Most of the younger workers only work 'because they need the money' and have the cart a bit before the horse.  Eh, management work stinks.  Mostly because the workers want to get paid for doing as little as possible while grumbling about poor management.  Want a raise?  Work harder.  Finding a good dedicated worker, one who won't say "That ain't ma JOB!" is a rarity.  I'll fight tooth and nail with upper management to keep those types in the event of layoffs.

The kids would spend all day in the pool if they could.

Once, then I felt so sorry for it I let it go.  I always liked to watch them fly free.  Watching fireflies makes me feel happy, for some reason.

Ha I was probably seventeen or so...then I filled up a five gallon bucket and waited inside an open window for him to walk by lol
