I met my wife a little over ten years ago in a pre-Godplace upci chatroom.  Her friends were trying to hook me up with someone else and drove to her house at 11pm to use her scanner so they could send me a photo.  When they were driving over there, I started chatting with her, over time we became friends, and despite her best efforts, I managed to convince her to marry me    It will be 10 years on Aug. 12. 

Oh, and the friend they were trying to hook me up with turned out to be an arrogant snob who I got rid of as quickly as possible, thank God!
