well, maybe she has another use for pinkwinking . . i mean . . pink is clearly a FEMALE form of winking and well, winking can have all sorts of connotations.  not everyone thinks of threadjacking and becoming the center of attention when they think of pink and wink.

so .. um .. . . yeah, let the pinkwinkery begin!  :pwink:

what a fabulous idea!   :thumbsup2:

Leave it to our dearest bit of Scruff to post such a question.  *sighs*  Now, I'm actually pondering...

Kloey! *grin*

Gingerale

ehhh... my godplace crush has been my godplace crush for several years.

That would happen to be Sir John. But since Oklahoma is so far from Texas, it would never work.   :biglaugh:

MelodyB

Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

Newsman

I am deeply honored, Lady Ginger, but for at least a significant portion of the past two or three years, I believe you have an admirer you seem fond of a lot closer than I! Is this not so?

Oh, and Lady Ginger, the humor in the Oklahoma and Texas being so far away it would never work comment!  :biglaugh:
A few years ago, I developed a crush (yes, 'tis true,) on a female television reporter I was covering a major trial with..she lived in Tulsa. Towards the end of the very long trial, we talked a bit of that topic, and she said "it would never work out..I don't do long distance relationships."
It was a nice way to let me down easy (she already had a boyfriend, so I offered to beat him up if she ever needed it,) :) but it's always interesting to see what people think of as long distance relationships..Tulsa was about 90 mies from work, 100 from home..just about the right distance, if you ask me.
Hmm..I was about to hit some stories, but I think I may go listen to a song or two first....

How about :sing: "The fall and the springtime, were like in between times..." :sing:

Hebrews 12:12-16 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you

:o I'm amazed at what some people think long distance is. *shakes head* She must think nearby is next-door. *laugh*

*determinedly ignores the song conversation in the sidelines*

I meant socially.

Sister_Mom

Oooooooo!! I had forgot all about this one!

I have an answer to the original question now.

If I had to marry someone who is a member of GP it would be Brother Dad. If I had a choice to marry someone on GP it would be Brother Dad. If I could marry anyone in the world I wanted to, it would be Brother Dad.

Kinda neat how that's working out for me, huh?  :laughhard:
God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

Sis

Not fair! He wasn't a member when the question was asked!

Sister_Mom

I made my choice and I'm sticking to it, fair or not. :demand:

Not really.  I'd say it's divine providence.  After all, God does work in mysterious ways...

One more evasive answer this month, my friend, and you must run for office!

To truthfully answer the question posed in the original post....

As of right now, if a girl posts on Godplace, then to me- I must consider her offlimits.  It is a decision that unfortunately had to be made due to a situation some years back. Because of that situation, I watch too many of my friendships on GP die.   I don't want to see that happen again.  Though I don't really have what you would call a close friend on here anymore, I don't want to lose any aqaintances I have.

Not that there isn't a couple ladies here I could be interrested in if I had met them through another means, but I can't consider anyone from here at this time.  Given time, I might re-consider, but it had better be someone I think is really special and that I can't get out of my mind.  And it isn't that I am not afraid to change my mind either.....I just don't see myself doing it at the moment.
So with that, I think I have answered the question.

Newsman

Lady Newkris,

Brandon has actually travelled far more than I..he's worked in Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Mississippi, I think.
