I want some of the KSO ones that have toes... really badly! But alas! There isnt a REI store close to here for me to try them on at!

Chel, they also sell some of these at JcPenney's. You can even order them online!

Yes but for the shoe shopper buying an unfamiliar brand, you really want to try them on first... And if they don't fit returning by mail is a lot more hassle than putting them back on the shelf.

That pic is the original KSO.  KSO Trek and KSO Treksport have a much better tread, looks like a "normal" tennis shoe tread.

And those "Atessa" shoes... all I'll say is I'm very glad it's not the style for men to wear stuff like that.  My ankles would be killing me in five minutes flat.

lol.  Actually, the Atessa shoes are a whole lot more comfortable than they look.  I haven't ever been able to wear heels, but these are extremely comfortable.  And, I sprained my ankle a few months ago, and these are just high enough to give support for my ankle.

That's... pleasant.  Looks like someone took everything he could think of that could possibly disfigure a foot and threw it all together.  Nice touch, those open sores.
