If you were President of the US, what would be 2 things you would most want to accomplish during your term?

(1) Kill every last member of any group associated with Bin Laden

(2) Further World Peace

Kill a specific group of people, then try to make peace? Hmmmm......  :smirk2:

Question

Who is the cause of the majority of the worlds violence?

Who would be the cause of the majority of the world's violence if Americans killed the present majority?
God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

No one!

With the violent people gone, no more violence. Our military would fulfull the role of the avenger (a biblical principle) and that of the Minister

Romans 13: 1. Let every  soul  be subject  unto the higher  powers.  For  there is  no  power  but  of  God   : the powers  that be  are  ordained  of  God.
2. Whosoever therefore  resisteth  the power,  resisteth  the ordinance  of God:  and  they that resist  shall receive  to themselves  damnation.
3. For  rulers  are  not  a terror  to good  works,  but  to the evil.  Wilt thou  then  not  be afraid  of the power?  do  that which is good,  and  thou shalt have  praise  of  the same:
4. For  he is  the minister  of God  to thee  for  good.   But  if  thou do  that which is evil,  be afraid  ; for  he beareth  not  the sword  in vain:  for  he is  the minister  of God,  a revenger  to execute wrath  upon  him that doeth  evil.

The Never Ending Battle

Sister_Mom

I understand what you are saying, and I'm not at all opposed to a nation fighting to defend itself or doing whatever is necessary to protect itself (note the sig  ).

I was just saying that violence doesn't usually end violence. It has in the past, and usually is when a nation or group is entirely wiped out, but that isn't normally the case. Although it is a necessity in the world, it's just a never ending circle and if we did as you said, then the rest of the world would see us as we see those who are associated with Bin Laden and we would then become the ones that the rest of the world thinks needs to be "gotten rid of".

My next question:
Were you the Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy From Company B?
God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

I'm sorry, but you only answered one thing, as those below fit together :)

Funny. I thought the same thing. :)

*waits to see what Scott's 2nd answer will be*

hmmm

Nothing  really

My trumpet and flugelhorn are fairly important as are my guns.

Don't mess with my bibles...

But i am not overly attached to personal possession.

A Paramedic and then become a Respiratory Therapist after I got too old for the Paramedic job.
I had it all planned out, but God had other ideas.
