Why isn't "palindrome" spelled the same way backwards?

Because then it would be one of itself, making it an oxymoron.

Or.... maybe not.  ???

I'm getting back to work now that I've had enough laughs to get me through the day. Thanks ya'll.  :thumbsup2:
God determines who walks into your life....it's up to you to decide who you let walk away, who you let stay, and who you refuse to let go.

The bubbly stuff in soap and water.  :biglaugh:

That made me think of this:

:sing: It's a bubblin'  , it's a bubblin', it's a bubblin' in my soul  :sing:

what exactly is your job?

Not real sure, and I don't think it'd be a good idea to ask.  :o

kidding  :biglaugh:

Graphic Artist.
I work for a bank that has 34 branches in the state of Florida, and is scheduled to open 2 more in the near future. I am a guardian of the banks image. This includes anything and everything that is produced with the bank logo, whether advertising in magazines, newspaper or any type of print, flyers, brochures, postcards, billboards, displays, t-shirts, hats, or any of the more than 100 various items in our marketing department..... and more, but I couldn't possibly list them all here. I am one of two graphic designers for the bank. I'm not really sure if there is a way to describe everything I do. For example: part of my job is keeping our employee photos updated on our intranet compliance site... all employees at all branches and corporate. Once I was asked to position a clock on our main branch in various positions to show the president and CEO how it would look so he could decide where he wanted the clock placed. We're getting ready for our children's Christmas party and have been working on cleaning the areas that will be used, digging things out of storage, etc. I'd say our biggest challenge is our loan officers. We have some very creative loan officers who have some really interesting ideas on how to promote the different types of loans. There is a running joke in the office that we're waiting for one of them to get the idea of asking one of us to jump out of an airplane with a parachute printed with some sort of advertising. If they only knew how much I'd love to do that . . . . . .

When I passed by your job last friday morning, they were starting to put the reindeer up...have they finished that yet?
Have you slapped that one dude from Indiana with a pie in the face today?

:laughhard:  :laughhard:  :laughhard: I'm not quite sure. Nobody's asking and nobody's saying. They were supposed to be finished the day before Thanksgiving. The really funny part is, this year they decided not to hire outside of the "family" and used one of their very own holding company's to do the job.  :o
:laughhard:  :laughhard:  :laughhard:

I just thought about that today and realized that it's been a little while since the workers have been around and I haven't had to dodge any large ladders in the elevator, so I think they're done. I was going to get some pics tomorrow evening since I'll be here late anyway.  :thumbsup2:

Kiddie Cmas party?

Wrong.

That's more of a phone conversation question than a public forum question.

You two are so predictable.  I could _so_ stalk you if I wanted to. ;)
