What is the most unique stuffed animal you own, and who gave it to you? :)

What is the fondest memory you have of something in your past?

Times spent with my maternal grandmother. I remember always feeling so happy and loved when she was around. Everyone felt that way around her because she respected and loved everyone no matter their skin color, background, what they had done, social status. The only preferences she showed was to children, all children. I never once heard her say an unkind word to or about anyone. She showed me what unconditional love means.
I didn't fully appreciate this until I was older and learned more about the way she grew up. Her Mother was native american and her Dad, a white man who was the only doctor around who would go on the reservation to give them medical treatment. During the time my grandmother was growing up, the natives were still treated very poorly and were social outcast. Many people still believed they were nothing more than savages. So, growing up as a native american would have been difficult enough, but as a mixed indian and white was even worse. Many people who grow up being mistreated due to their skin color tend to harbor hatred and mistrust. She was the opposite. She went out of her way to treat all people with respect, love and compassion.

Which bear in your collection is your favorite? And where did you get it?

You don't seriously expect me to choose do you?  ???

I think this one is the prettiest. So in that sense, she could be considered a favorite.

The only one I think might be my most favorite would apply to ST's question.  ;)

The only stuffed animals I own are bears.  But I do have one I think is kind of unique.

Meet Bubba Boyd

What is so unique about him is the way his head moves. His head, arms and legs move, but his head rotates in a way that actually changes his expessions.

That's funny. :) I think my first pick would've been the other. But... I would've picked the other one for you. Yay me. ;)

Oops. We're off topic again...

*ahem*

They're both just beautiful and if I saw these at a time when I could get a bear and had to choose only one I would choose the one on the left because I like her style better. I like the colors of the one on the left. and her hat is adorable. Is that a dog she has in a carrier? Cute! I was immediately drawn to the style of the one on the left though, and thought that even before I read the posts following it.

Are part-time band leaders semi-conductors?

Yep!!  :laughhard:

Really short band leaders are half notes.

Because the only calls they get are mistakes, therefore they're quite unpopular, therefore never being busy.
So, be nice, make a friend and call a wrong number. You just might make their day.  :thumbsup2:

I'm not so sure they ever had any and you'd be hard pressed to prove they did.  :biglaugh:

How do you think he broke so easily? How do you think someone came up with the idea of the Faberge eggs? Putting him back together.....? Duh!
