Seems like a while ago somebody tried stringing together several Haiku, and was told that was breaking every rule in the book....but I'm too lazy to go look. LOL And besides...I've always been a rebel! Why change now?  :updown:

Light breeze on my face
The sound of rushing water
Tumbling past the rocks

Swirling downstream and
Joining another river
Grows ever deeper

Gaining momentum
Through both forest and canyon
Til it finds the sea

My thoughts meander--
Small things lead to destiny
But God guides the course

Mountains and valleys
Wilderness, too, He uses
Each place I come through

Til finally I reach
The place I am designed for
The place I belong

A place of no tears
But of joy--it's called Heaven

A Belated Mother's Day Haiku

Celebrate the day?
Quiet sigh and teary eye.
Hug your Mom for me.

p.s. The day wasn't as bad as the haiku sounds.  I just had a few moments.  God is good, though.  He is becoming my *everything* more than I ever imagined possible.
