I won the school spelling bee 3 times and the county spelling bee once. It's the one thing I know I'm good at.

you know what's funny? I found out that only 20% of 8th graders, 24% of HS freshmen and 26% of HS seniors in Missouri can get this test 15/15.

I guess I'm somewhat lucky to have gone to school in Illinois....

56% 8th graders, 64% HS freshmen and 87% HS seniors

But yet, neither state can capitalize on the ACT/SAT and state testing........no thanks to NCLB
