Yes I know and I hate it.  It makes him look older because it has a lot of gray in it.  Right now he has the chin part shaved off and is letting his moustache grow long.  He has been twisting the sides so they point up like "Doc Holiday" on  Tombstone.  I told him I didn't like it at all--but he thinks he looks cool.  :smirk2:

aww take a picture of her with her teeth showing. my perfect  nephew is 6 months old and my heart melts everytime he smiles and shows his 5 little teeth.. aww mattison is a doll.

it makes him look older...u r right...not nearly as handsome either...and alot of times i like gotees...just doesnt do him justice...no offense...maybe if u tell him other ladies besides u say he looks cuter without it he will shave it all back off

Mattison LOVES to read.  I (honestly) have to keep books hidden from her because if she sees one when she first wakes up in the mornings--at 6:30 am, she wants to sit and read it right then.  I am trying to get ready for work and get her ready, so I don't have time to sit and read it.... She has books in the living room, in her bedroom, in my bedroom, at church and in the car.  Wherever we go she has to have a book.
Does this mean my baby is going to be a genius?  Her initals are M.D., you know?

Everyone says she looks like the Gerber baby.  To me, she is cuter than the Gerber baby because if you look close at the Gerber Baby--its eyes are too close together  :hypocrite:

When we get to heaven you can CERTAINLY hold her.  However, if she is as independant then as she is now--she doesn't want to be held.  She is at the stage that she wants to walk herself, feed herself, hold her own bottle/sippy cup, etc.  I wish at times she was little again so we could snuggle.....

Aw. But now that shes not a little baby you can have more fun with her. I mean when my nephew was Just born he was cute and everthing but I had to be so careful with him, I was afraid of breaking him. now that he's a 6 month old I can play more with him and I'm not afraid of breaking him. Infact just the other day I was teaching him how to play drums with pots and pans.. I know you'll have more fun with her as she gets older.. Just wait tell shes old enough to help you pick out cloths for yourself. As she gets older you ain't losing anything you are gaining fun, new experiences with your daughter.

very good perspective amanda, and very true  :thumbsup2:  i think one of the best things is when they're old enough to help in the kitchen.  abigail was ecstatic when i taught her how to make broccoli cheese soup a year or so ago.  it makes me feel so proud when my girls want to do "mommy things" just like me  ;)

You're so right Amanda.

Babies are great when they're little babies. They're cute and cuddly, and oh so loveable!!! But, as they get older it's so fun. Janessa is so fun. She loves to cook and bake, do dishes, clean house. She loves to go clothes shopping. She'll grab an outfit and stand in front of a mirror and say "Mama, do you think this will look good on me?"!!!!!! It's so fun. I think they're great at each stage they go through!!!!

OMG Our girls are sooo much alike !!! Lol Emma LOVES to "read" and she is lil miss independant!!! Tooo FUN!!!
