Is it just me or in the first picture is she starting to look more like Donnie??

She's SO sweet!!  I can't believe how big she's getting!!

....nope, it is not just you.  Everyone is telling me she is starting to look like her Dad.

nicolejoy

I thought that exact same thing!!! I still think she looks like you too though, Darla... She's just looking more like him too!!

darlaj2

Here are some more pictures of Mattison taken yesterday.  Look at how long her legs are!  She is going to be tall.

okieoliveoyl

is that one of those high chairs that just strap into a regular chair???  That's what i'm wanting b/c it seems much more convenient than a huge one...easier to travel with too!

She is such a doll!!!  I can see both of you in her....

Darla, everytime I see photos of Mattison in her high chair I fall in love with the walls...  They wouldnt match my motif anywhere in my house, but I still love them!!!!

It is indeed one of those highchairs.  It is made by Fisher-Price and is $50 from Wal-Mart.com.  I LOVE the chair.  It will recline and sit straight up.  The tray is a one-handed tray (very important).....our kitchen is just too small for a regular high chair, so we had to get that one and I am so glad I did.  It is just perfect.

Ha!  Glad yall like my wall.  When Donny and I married, my living room was splatter-painted and I had carousel horses everywhere.   He decided that it was too girlie so I repianted and got rid of the carousel horses....but I wanted to kitchen to stand out since the living room didn't.  I found some wall paper that I liked but it was going to cost a fortune....so I decided to paint the walls myself.  I have the stripe on just one wall (the rest are solid white) but the "border" around the top is the same stripe but horizontal (there are 3 stripes.)

She has been so fussy today.  I think her teeth are bothering her.  So far she only has the bottom two in, but I think some more are getting ready....she isn't normally fussy but today nothing could satisfy her.

nicolejoy

Maybe you just don't take photos of her when she's fussy ;) Coz whenever I see pics of her, she looks like the happiest baby in the world!!

Here you go.  Just for you Nic.....  :hypocrite:   (well, they are not showing up at the moment....I will repost them this evening if they don't show up.)

nicolejoy

I can't see the pics!! I even tried directly following the link, but even then it didn't work!!

Mattison mustn't want anyone to see her when she's cranky ;)

darlaj2

I'll try again later.  Right now it is 6:30 am and I am trying to get ready for work....

I love that highchair...I most keep that in mind....

She is such a beauty!!!  I just want to kiss her cute cheeks!

I love the walls as well

When Zaky was a baby, we didn't have room for a high chair, so we just put him in one of those cheap plastic portable seats that fit in a chair.  But now we don't have an extra chair to spare, so we're going to have to get a regular high chair for anthany.  Don't know where we will put it though, lol.  Right now I just feed him either propped up on the couch, or holding him. :smirk2:

*Christi*

I wish they would have had those highchairs when my boys were babies!!  When Noah was a baby we fed him in his infant carrier until he could sit up and then we moved him to the booster chair.  When Isaac was born we still didn't have room for a high chair and his infant carrier laid back more so we fed him in his swing until we moved into this house.  Then I bought a used high chair at a garage sale and used it until he was big enough for a booster chair.  The high chair ended up breaking right at the end... I was starting to spazz out because we were going to have to get a high chair for Isabelle but we have a water cooler in the spot where we kept Isaac's high chair!!  We only have a 4 person table right now so extra chair!!  Buuuuuttt... Josh is going to be redoing the floor in the family room/kitchen in October and I'll be able to have my separate dining area so I'll still have the 4 person table in the kitchen but I also found a really cute 6 person table that I like for the dining room!!  Soooo I'll probably keep the kids seats at the kitchen table!!

darlaj2

Like I said the high chair we have reclines.  I think it has 3 positions- totally reclined, sitting 1/2 way up (the way she is now) and then it will sit straight up for when the tray is removed and they can sit at the table and the chair be a booster seat.  It really is a nice high chair....I recommend it 100%

littlegal

The high chairs i've been looking at recline.  Those are the best kind.  They were just starting to come out with those when I had westley.  I wanted the old fashioned wooden kind with westley though, and Jeremy's mom bought one for us.  I loved it, but the way it was designed, he was almost a year old before he was big enough to fit in it.  When we moved in this house, we didn't have room to sit it out, so I sold it.   but i've decided I'm definitely getting one of those reclining ones this time!

darlaj2

Ok, here is trying again for Nicole.  :great:

littlegal

awww, that poor baby.  Tears and everything!  Anthany has yet to cry a single tear.

darlaj2

she hit herself with the rattle.  She didn't start crying until I made over her and the bottom lip puckered and tears began to flow.

*Christi*

awww how sad!!  Isablle cries real tears and it just breaks my heart!!  :sadbounce:

NessasMama

Awwww.....so sad...but sad or not she's still ADORABLE!!!!!
I was born weird -- this terrible compulsion to behave normally is the result of childhood trauma.

nicolejoy

She's still gorgeous even when she's crying!! lol - she just looks so pitiful... poor baby lol ;)

mesipie
