I have some fuzzy slipper socks! But I'd rather wear my slippers at the moment, because I have to go outside onto the balcony and I don't want to snag or get the slipper socks dirty.

Around here, I haven't heard of anything cheaper than $100/week. EEK! Terrifying to think of ever having children. Sooo expensive.. *shudder*

It's hard when folks priorities are different. *sigh*

I discovered this from my ice skating days.

If you put on too many pairs of socks, you cut off your circulation and your feet will get cold anyway. Better to put on one really thick pair than lots of others.

Ben took a trip to Huehuetenango. A random fact: Guatemalan cities with names ending in "tenango" come from one of the indigenous Mayan languages and mean:

______+ "the place of"

Other examples include Chimaltenango, Quetzaltenango, Jacaltenango, Colotenango etc.

So Quetzaltenango would mean "The place of the Quetzal."

Definition of some familiar terms:
Courageous - the one guy who was too slow to run away.
Political Candidate - someone who gets money from the wealthy, votes from the poor, and promises each group to protect them from each other.
Modesty - the ability to recognize that you're perfect, while keeping it a secret.
Teamwork - the possibility to blame others for your mistakes.
