Bicycle season has officially started.  Went for a ride yesterday after work. My muscles are already complaining about pumping up tires.

We are in the throes of chocolate covered strawberry fundraiser this week. I'm glad I like to eat them, hahaha.

Quote from: Roscoe on February 11, 2026, 11:20:46 PMHi. About to go teach a bible lesson that will cause folks to roll their eyes because I've hit on the main points of it alot.
But can't shake it...so I will teach it.

I loved the halftime show. Yes, I couldnt understand it, but it was very love and inclusion focused and I think Bad Bunny did a fabulous job of it. The end message of the only thing more powerful than hate is love is what our country needs right now.

Monday's just come TOO FAST. I loathe it. I just want to cottage core in my little country house somewhere and frolic amongst flowers I grew. I'm tired of being a working adult. Sigh.

We don't have service on Sunday evenings, so we have occasionally had a get together. We haven't ever streamed the game, but I don't see a problem with it! I don't know if I'd do it in the sanctuary personally but.. lots of churches don't have the facilities to have it elsewhere if they want to get together. None of us were fans of these teams tho lol.

Dentist appointment tomorrow afternoon for a crown replacement, then a sunday school department meeting at pastor's house.

I've never heard of an apostolic church doing a Superbowl party. Not judging but never heard of it.
I had a good friend, Rev Joey Weatherford,  come over from Parker's Crossroads TN and preach for us. Awesome message and service, over 50 there which is good for us, with several out. Good meal afterwards too.
Fixing to go eat breakfast with them before they leave out.

Not a joke. I went.

I think I enjoyed the party more than the people who like football. They were disappointed in the game play. The halftime show was not fun. But I did what I always do, hung out on the sidelines and kibitzed.

It is a good thing for them that I did go. The local Wi-Fi was struggling. Then it just quit. So I ran the show from my phone hotspot.
