So thankful. My kids had new flooring done in my bathroom today for Mother's Day/birthday. It's been needing it since we took out the tub and put in a walk in shower.
Chel and a handyman friend plus her oldest boy came. It was a longer process than we expected and took all day but, it's done!  :)

Believe in the power of prayer. One time a friend of mine who was a car dealer... Yeah, a Christian car dealer, and he still made a profit somehow... Had a low business season. His wife started praying for more business. After a couple weeks he said, "Mary quit praying!"

Wore out.
That describes me. I will say after a friend prayed for me to get rest Wednesday night, I've gotten some of the best sleep ever. So much that I overslept for work TWO DAYS IN A ROW.
I texted my friend and asked him to dial down the prayer a bit- AFTER he prayed the same type of prayer over my bank account. Hey, if he's got God's ear, I want every bucket, pan and bowl full. :laughhard:
Still totally mentally tired though. Seeing some people I love making bad decisions I am unable to stop and it hurts.

Sounds flu-ish. Hope you feel better soon! Sickly is no fun.

Not a super productive week at home for Jeremy's week away due to storms and exhaustion from the weekend/storms. BUT - there's still tomorrow night and Saturday, so there's hope, haha. I want to get at least ONE room 100% cleaned and organized. That's my goal.

I did manage to get some work here at my job done that had been weighing on me for a while, so I'm happy about that!

SUCH a beautiful day today.

Man Isaac I'm sorry yall are going through this. Praying for you.
Had service last night with an old friend that circumstances had caused us to drift apart. I felt led to ask him to come and preach for us and last night was the night. I lost count around 50- my assistant pastor said we had 60 ish there. And oh my what a service. Result- one of ours that's been seeking the Holy Ghost got it and there were several renewings. Good fellowship afterwards too

 Yah!

This foot-ectomy is hurting dad a LOT more than the other one, and the pain pill ain't cutting it. Never seen him desperate enough to take morphine before. Never heard him groaning in pain like that before.

Some parts of life need a fast forward button.

Aging really stinks.  :sadbounce:
And watching your parents do it stinks even more.
