Title: Anti-Virus program

I need a good anti virus program that is FREE on the net. Can anyone please help me out?

Avast is good and free for antivirus.  They have a payware version that takes care of everything else, but there are other free programs for everything else.

For antispyware (that's the everything else) get spybot.

Please be sure to hit "Update" and then "Immunize" in Spybot.  Might hit the "donation" button in a week or so if you're happy with it.  ^.^

AVG Free was recommended by many IT guys for normal personal internet use.  I think our beloved programmer on GP uses it.

AVG is great. Been using it for several years.
