I went in the other day looking for a simple XLR cable (microphone cable, the kind your church uses in the sound system) and they didn't have one. Well, for me the first time I felt old was when one of my best friend's daughter had a baby. I remember being at the hospital with him and his wife the day after she was born-now she has a kid! That and the fact that people who were born the year I graduated high school are legally driving. the first time I stopped a kid born that year, I was like- " you can't be driving, you're just a baby" Then the dispatcher advised me that they had a valid license. hahah so i just went through the last box of boxes i never unpacked when i moved in lol

almost had a time of panic, spent all day trying to find the sync cord to my ipod so i could update and load more music and stuff on it. finally found it, then get my ipod and it was stuck in the locked position. oy took forever to get it unstuck lol
i can go without most anything but my ipod lol
I have heard that if you have boxes of stuff you haven't used in two years, hold a yard sale.
Put the ipod in the yard sale and get something with a better battery life. :P
i use my ipod daily. it was the sync cord i rarely use lol
and it wasnt a dead battery. just got stuck in the locked position for some reason. i love my ipod and now it is 2/3 full of new stuff to listen to for a long while now. :)
and on the stuff you dont use, i get rid of anything i dont use in 6 months. i have only lived where i am about about 4-5 months and only didnt unpack because it is so tiny there was nowhere to unpack it to lol
it was mostly computer parts. and i have narrowed it down to one small box of parts "i may could use before long" lol
i built my desktop out of donated odds and ends, so never know when something will go out on it.
well gona go find some grub and maybe take a walk or something. need to work off some nervous energy lol

I didn't say your battery was dead, just that you need a player with a longer battery life. I can go more than 40 hours without having to recharge. :D
About the music, hope some of that stuff I sent was useful. I usually try to tailor a music collection to the tastes of the person who is getting the computer I'm setting up, but in your case I had no idea so I sent everything.
i only charge my ipod once a week. :)
