...and I'm surrounded by twitterpatedness! Everywhere I turn, friends are giddy, sparkly, twirling, happy, have stars in their eyes. Even a few people who thought they'd never find someone "right for them" suddenly have this lilt in their voice that wasn't there a few weeks ago.
It's spring!!
Be careful! It might be you that's twitterpated next. :up2: :freaky2:
:beret:
It's spring?
Well, I wish someone would tell Jack Frost. He is supposed to visit here tonight and put a white glaze on our windows and plants.
And it's more like summer here. We were in the 90s this past week.

Spring, spring, spring!
CALEB:
Oh, the barnyard is busy in a regular tizzy,
And the obvious reason is because of the season
Ma Nature's lyrical, with her yearly miracle
Spring, Spring, Spring.
BENJAMIN:
All the hen-folk are hatchin'
While their men-folk are scrathin'
To ensure the survival of each brand new arrival.
DORCAS:
Each nest is twitterin',
They're all baby-sitterin',
Spring, Spring, Spring.
FRANK:
It's a beehive of buddin' son and daughter life,
Every family has plans in view.
Even down in the brook the underwater life
Is forever blowin' bubbles too.
LIZA:
Every field wears a bonnet
With some spring daisies on it,
Even birds of a feather show their clothes off together.
EPHRAIM:
Sun's gettin' shinery, to spotlight the finery,
LIZA:
Spring, Spring, Spring.
GIDEON:
From his eyrie, the eagle with his eagle eye
Gazes down across his eagle beak
And a'fixin' his lady with the legal eye
Screams "suppose we fix the date this week!"
CALEB & RUTH with DANIEL & MARTHA:
Yes, siree, spring disposes
That it's all one supposes
It's a real bed of roses
Waggin' tails, rubbin' noses.
All BROTHERS (except Ephraim) & All BRIDES:
Each day is Mother's Day
The next is some other's day
When all is King ....
:o
Uh oh. Is it catching??

Are you twitterpated? *grin*
:beret:
I know a bunch of those people too
I'm not one of them.
:-\
I've been seriously surprised at how many people who have been pretty much confirmed singletons are suddenly being swept off their feet, 2010 is a great year for some people. Thrilled for them but I sure would like if they'd tell me what they are all drinking. I'm helping a friend plan her wedding... I hope its contagious. Getting out of the dead-end relationship is probably the first step for me though LOL he went to a singles meeting the other night that I've been pestering him to go to so thats a step in the right direction... hopefully he'll be more successful than my singles cruise LOL
:sing: I'm in the nmood for lovvvvv :sing:
There you go, Mary. :freaky747:
Noooo, Lady Melody, Lady Mary needeth a less aged man than I!
And I have no younger brothers, but Lady Mary would be an incredible catch for some lucky man!
John :waving:
:lurk:
:pharoah:
I know what you mean about Spring being in the air, I am still in winter over here, but next week I have two weddings to attend. :frustrated:
Weddings are fun
there is a guy at the theatre who keeps giving me googley eyes. he's a nice guy and funny. kinda cute....but he's 20. i'm 27. that's a gap that's a bit too wide for my liking especially because there are some major difference in those years...

Yup... the Trillium flowers are blooimng up here... it is springtime!
*happy sigh* I love trillium. And I haven't been up on the mountain to see them growing wild in far too long. Ya know... trillium is really amazing for more than just its beauty. If you don't know why, you really should look it up. :)
:beret:
Because it was in the original Star trek series?
John :waving:
Any plans you want to share, Lady Stacey?

Yup... it was, but you cant keep a good tulip down...
Hm, it seems like i've heard that before but a little differently ;)

I really like that picture too... the ground pov is always one of my favorites with flowers...
mr googley eyes has asked me out to coffee.....really? i work in a coffee shop 40 hrs a week!!! sheesh. trying to come up with a way to let him down softly....
Hmmmmm... accidently poor an iced mocha grande in his lap? That should cool him off. :-)
Just tell him what you told us...
"really? i work in a coffee shop 40 hrs a week!!! sheesh!!"
And then say, "it's Ruth's Chris, the Melting Pot, or nothing, baby! And don't forget the required 3 dozen roses, box of chocolates, and miscellaneous fine jewelry, or you'll never have a chance at a second date."
That should let him down easily enough. *nod*
*giggle*
:beret:
Perhaps he just assumes since you work in a Coffee Shop, that you REALLY prefer coffee over anything else... lol...
well after he sent me a crazy email about how i supposedly didn't speak to him at rehearsal one night and i sent one back to him telling him he was crazy....he didn't try to speak to me last night....so YAY!
Ummm... I dont think it is spring anymore... :o
It's definitely Spring over here.

trillium, the sources I find point to one main quote....
"In a 1918 publication, Joseph E. Meyer called it "Beth Root" (probably a corruption of "birthroot") and claimed that an astringent tonic derived from the root was
useful in controlling bleeding and diarrhea" Meyer, Joseph E. The Herbalist and Herb Doctor. Hammond, IN: Indiana Herb Gardens, 1918, p. 50. ??? ??? ???
surely you didn't mean that.....
