Title: Family feud over faith
Post by: nwlife on February 16, 2010, 06:11:40 PM
A father was ordered in the devorice case by the judge that he can not take his daughter (toddler age) to the catholic church he is part of as his wife is contesting that they agreed to raise the child as jewish.  he has a restraining order now on this and since he did take the girl to the catholic services, he may be held in contempt of court.

They should have thought of the difference in faiths before they married. Now it is a matter of law. Interfaith marriages only work when the parties involved really aren't involved in their "faiths".

I think it has more to do with two just divorced parents hating each other than religion.  I think both parents are probably attempting to use religion to inflict damage on the other parent.

That's more than likely the way it is.
