Title: Windows 7 and audacity (Ion turntable)
Post by: rootbeer on January 13, 2010, 07:19:46 PM
I bought a new computer that has Windows 7.  I installed audacity on it and plugged in my Ion turntable, and I get no sound.  I have checked all the connections and have everything turned on and followed all the directions, and I still get no sound.  Anybody have any ideas?

I don't like Windows 7.  It's basically a fix of Windows Vista and there are programs that won't work on it.

I fixed my problem.  I uninstalled audacity and downloaded audacity1.3 and it worked.
