I'll start: where's Lady Mary (Amelia Bedelia)?
John :waving:
She was in Aaron's birthday thread a little while ago. ;)
Where's ICG? I miss her. :sadbounce:
:beret:
well thanks Ruby... lets stay on a subject for three posts shall we?
oh wait... that was on topic
:waving: I'm around...
I miss ICG too... and everyone
Ppfftt. :P I know where to find you even if you aren't on GP, so I didn't have to ask about you. ;)
:beret:
Where is Yankee Bear? :sadbounce:
Have had a lot of people on my mind lately. Where are.......
Bro Bart and his wife Rebekka. Love hearing from Europe
Speaking of that, how about Joyuse from France?
1 Leg rooster flew the coop when he became a two leg rooster again.
MiLady. Since she moved from MI, she hasn't posted much
The Yos. I know they had problems getting and keeping a hook-up but they made an impression the short time they were here
JD! Oh JD where are you tonight?
Sis Mom Miss her.
Rambler must be ramblin'
Jane Fan hasn't been in GP a lot but she used to post a lot in UPCI
Trina Oh where could she be?
Little Gal. Have her on FB and she's remodeling a new house, but she used to be fun.
Called&Chosen? Big Um. Brannon? Charlene?
What about Anna, and her older sister Beth?
John :waving:
Fair Lady,
I've been fairly sick, and also injured, and have only occasionally thought of another epsiode. My workplace tells me I need to take it easier, then loads me with more work than I did when I was 35, and a whole lot more than I did when I was 25.
I'll try to start thinking of another episode within the next cxouple of weeks.. I have a solo road trip Friday for work, so naybe the late night drive back will give me opportunity for thinking on that (I usually do the thinking before I do the writing, if such makes sense.) :)
Pastor's also going on a rare extended vacation..which leaves a little more work to do, church-related.

LittleGal stays active on another forum.
I have her on facebook but what other forum?

We better call his wife to make sure everything is ok!
Um......it's a long story
Short story is: God's been good, and he's provided me with some awesome growing opportunities and some specific plans for the future. And someone to share them with. :2love:
More details at a later date, but for now lets say I'm a very happy girl!
Well start hangin around here again and we can fix that right quick. :demand:
fix which part? :noo:
We can take care of all of it!
Lady Sarah,
I'm glad you've at least graced us with the beauty of your (electronic) presence. Whoever the man in your life is, he is an extraordinarily fortunate one!

Sis Mom is safely in North Carolina taking care of Bro Dad. Brother Yo was by the house last Thursday. They are doing great.
i miss sis mom.
No joke. :sadbounce:
I think I miss her more than I miss anyone else on here, and not just her posts.
Taking care of Brother Dad must be a fulltime job.
If I disappear off the planet after I get married, somebody come shake me, okay? :) I know life changes, sometimes in huge ways, but I don't want to lose all contact with my friends every time life takes a shift. Sooo, Mel... I'm giving you permission now to shake me then, if needed. ;)

*laugh* Thanks, Barb. You're such a helpful friend. ;)
:beret:
Don't fight the seasons in your life Ruby. If I tried to stay connected with all the friends over the years that were dear at the time, my family and marriage would greatly suffer and I wouldn't have the time nor energy for yet more of what God wanted. It's not a bad thing. It's not fun but often it reveals who's willing to stay connected to you and understands your newfound role(s) in life.
I'm positive Mel will not let you off the hook that easy either. :)
I won't. Ha!!
I have already found out that MY life has changed, but I still manage to keep in contact. Not near as much as I used to, or even as much as I want to, but like Melodya said, it's not at all bad, and sometimes, especially when it is a God-thing. It's actually GOOD. ;)
I love yall, eventhough I'm not here as much. Everyone here has been a HUGE part of my life and I am thankful!
you know... I really like the last few posts.
But then again I think at other times it is just way to easy for me to go on and almost like I have seasons as a much faster rate than most people. If that makes any sense.
I hear ya! Haha
sometimes it surprises me what I'm able to drop easily and what doesn't drop so easily
Ruby, we'll just plan on not talking to you for two years and if its more than that we'll all be pleasantly surprised
That came out wrong - not if its more years but that if we talk more in the two years
She can leave for good for all I care.
:hypocrite:
*says Seth to mask the tears :wah2: he's wiping away*
No one can see how red your nose is from blowing it Seth but we understand buddy. :headrub:
JD must have gotten bored with us. Where's Nessa's Momma?
shes around on another board...had some personal things she was working on...
Da rooster is still alive and kickin'. Not stuck in bed, though, so he don't need our cheeriness to bring him outta the blahs.
Of course, he might pretend to be sick someday if the right nurse offers to come to his assistance. :freaky2:
Melodya: I really like what you said about the seasons of life. The ebb and flow is a natural part of our existence. Sometimes other things in life take the place of GP for awhile. I used to think life was much less fulfilling if I dind't keep a handle on what was going on here. Now it has changed. I think that most of the people on the board that know me well or might be concerned about my extended absence from the board have an alternate way of contacting me these days (email, phone number, etc.), so I don't fret as much if I don't have a chance (or make the time) to review and respond to threads.
**HUGS** the people who may have missed her a teeny tiny bit ;)
*Hugs* Elona, 'cause I missed her a teeny bit.... and more. ;)
:beret:
What if you were away for awhile, and came back to check on things and GP wasn't here anymore? Could happen if everyone decides to hide at the same time.
I don't hide. :smirk2: I'd probably still be here. lol
No one really "decides to hide". Most of the time, the people who go missing are the ones who aquire lives and don't have time to spend every waking moment online anymore.
I have been on both sides of that, so I know what it's like.
The only reason I have been on here as much as I have Benny the last two days is that I have been home sick in the bed since Wednesday night.
I'm talking about the powers that be eliminating the board.
That would be sad... but the friendships I've made here would not totally end thanks to Facebook and some on instant messanger.
You can't post picures and smileys with facebook, like you can here.

Nicely put.
But I certainly hope the "powers that be" don't eliminate GP. It's a wonderful little place to connect with friends and I would feel sad if it disappeared, even though I don't have so much time to hang out here as I used to.

It made my day a little brighter to be here again
They used to call you Short Hat not Hate...
:hi:
Hey Mesi! :hi: What did Santa bring you?
Well I got lectured the other day, or at least it was mentioned to me how I am not around since I got my other leg back.
It has been a busy time. I went back to work, and then got transferred back to our corporate office. And finally, I got named employee of the year for 2009 so I am being sent on a cruise with some company management and agents for the first week of February.
So hopefully I will get to post some pics well I am on the cruise on Facebook of the Mexican Riviera. Should be an awesome time.
I did post on the new years resolutions that I am going to try to post more often on here.
:yikes: Awsome! Hope you have a great time! Yeah, Pics. Posted pics, to be exact.
Wow! Congrats, Jonathan!! That's awesome!
I was glancing at some profiles on EA today when I saw a familar town. I have never been there, I just remember someone used to be on here from that town and was wondering if anyone else could remember who I am thinking about and put a name to the memory.
The person was a female from Paducah, KY. If I remember correctly she worked at a bank. Any ideas anyone?
Amy Smallwood. From the quilt capital of the USA!
Could it be Tiffany? I think she use to work at a bank.
I think it was indeed the Lovely Lady Amy (though, I actually think we've had more than one Lady Amy that's been a member of either Godplace or earlier Apostolic websites.)
John :waving:
I wasn't guessing, It WAS/IS Amy Smallwood. She's on FB if you want to get ahold of her for some reason.
I was taking a shot--Tiffany lives in Paducah too and was a regular here for years.
Sis,
Nope. Not looking for her. She just popped back in my head when I read something about Paducah, KY and I remembered some girl from there and wondered who it was.
Old age makes me do that now and then.
:-)
Lady Sis, and/or others who remember,
Is this the same Lady Amy that had a sister, they all moved to Louisiana, then ater into Arkansas? Or a different one?
Johnn :waving:
Amy Smallwood is still in padukah.
Are you thinking about Becca's sister?
Does anyone remember Jonah from the old chat room and what about Ronnie Holmes
Not Lady Becca's sister, but she's met both of them..says they can sing well.
John :waving:

Nope. You're talking about the Castleberry girls.
Well, I knew the first one and not the second one. What's my grade Mr Newsman?
Youn have the 'A' Lady Sis: I had traded a few PMs with one of the Ladies a year-plus back, but never met her. If I actually was sure, I might have traded PMs with BOTH Lady Amy's :)
John :waving:
lol Did you know they were two different Amy's at the time, Sir John? ;-)
I _think_ (I'm getting older, ya know) that I had a good idea which Lady Amy I was corresponding with, at the time :)

Actually I am here. You are not here though, you are there. In fact everyone here is there, because I don't see them here. I'm the only one here who is here.
But that's nothing new. If you were two feet away from me you'd still be there. I'm always the only one really here.

I'm not, unless the angel Gabriel appears in my living room and tells me to go. It's my SIL, littlegal that is moving to north arkansas.
Yellville is in Arkansas.. I might actually get to see her sometime when I drive thru to go to my granny's for Thanksgiving!
David.. HAHA.. Is Oklahoma really that much different? ;)
