USA Today reports that $300 million in federal "stimulus" will go to 61 municipal public housing authorities (i.e. bureaucrats who build/buy/manage/repair welfare apartments) who have repeatedly FLUNKED their HUD audits and consistently MISHANDLED their government funding. Additionally, they are fast-tracked to spend their millions without having to bother with pesky rules and policies such as competitive bidding requirements.
On the list of 61 toxic housing authorities, guess which one gets the MOST stimulus? Chicago IL, with a whopping $143,913,180; one of America's most politically-corrupt cities, and home of the Community-Organizer-in-Chief himself.
