Look at THIS:

Rev 12:12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

Saw it last night at church...even the devil KNOWS some things...and he is doing something about it. ;) Kinda fits with our little sermon doesnt it?

We are doing good just got back home.  Went to Church in Morganton.  Went to a restaurant had something to eat.  After my meal the owners who are from Egypt brought me some green slimy food to try.  It was very good.  So Friday night Sister Mom and myself are going back up to eat the green slimy stuff with them after they close the restaurant.

No I spent the day surveying the urgent need of soul winning in our day.  The need to not worry about a church building at the time and to start teaching Bible Studies.  Not that i against buildings.  But people need the Lord.  We must act and we must act fast people are dying and going to hell while we go through our ritual of Church services.  I love Church Services but we must have and do more.  God is really dealing with Sister Mom and I about the verses in Amos 8:11-13.  Please read these and pray over them.

No, No, hundred times no, that is not what I am saying.  I am saying we must get beyond the four walls of the Church.  It is not enough to fill up with gas and idle at the pumps till we need to fill up again.  This is what most of us have been doing for so long.  We must reach the lost and we will not reach them staying in the Churches.  We must get out of the box and teach Bible Studies.  Then we can build Churches.

Oh ok..had me freaked out there for a min. :o

I totally agree. Thats why at 9:30am tomorrow, I will be hitting the streets in our street ministry, getting ppl lined up for Bible studies, and on Friday and saturday, Ill be cooking and serving at the soup kitchen for the homeless. We sing and have testimony service there, and bring the gospel to THEM instead of them coming to us.

YUP. :)

This morning we went to a denominational church.  Tonight we tried to go to Church but could not find anywhere to go.  We rode to Shelby to go to a Church.  We got there but no one else did.  A very large building Church name on the front, but no times of service, just complete darkness.  We then came back to Cherryville and rode around.  We were checking the various Churches here.  Some very nice buildings with 3 - 5 cars in the parking lot.  People just going through the ritual of having Church.  It was then we decide something must be done to break the ritual.  So we ar working and praying about a plan.  No details at this time, outside of we are going to teach Bible Studies.

I was pointing out the fact the world is so Spiritual dead.  We go through the Church ritual and don't even realize it.  I went back and read the post that I posted and felt they were very clear.  I said they Church I saw didn't have anyone either so how would I win them.  But if I can I will win them also, they need the truth.  But if you feel I was not clear Melody you have my phone number to discuss the post.

Im not attacking you, I just wanted clairty in what it seemed like you said. You said that you were going to get outside of the normal church thing (paraphrasing here) and that you went to a denominational church, and that we must do more of that type of thing, when I said I was going to go to them, you said that was what we need to do, and that yall were going to help them break their ritual, and I read it as yall are going to start going to other churches to help them see the light.

I wasnt condeming that, if you want to do that, that id fine with me, your choice, and I KNOW that yall go where God leads, I wasnt questioning that either, I was just asking a question...thats what I do. I like to know. Thats me, and thats how I understood the previous posts.

You are not upset at me are you?

you know I love this.. It doesnt mean that 'your' going to change your beliefs or your standards.. Had I not Visited other churches, I would have never went to the first apostolic church I ever went to..

when I went to church, I went to all Kinds of churches.. well, most of the time I was traveling singing, or playing the piano for linda gibson or something.. and trust me, we went to some STRAAAANGE places.. Ive seen them do the craziest things ever heard of in some places (and trust me, I thought being raised in a serpent handling church I'd seen it all) boy was I wrong!!! lol.. anyway!!! - Charity, you can win people over with Charity... i truly believe that, because if someone would come visit our church, and we showed them a good charity and love that we were supposed to, they would want to come back.. and when we would travel and show people a good charity and love, they would want to come see us! No matter what the differences may be.. and then God may start to deal with them, if you keep doing your part.

lol.. I went to a church one time where the whole church went up front, the pastor said "Were now going to have spiritual warfare" and all the members pulled out "Imiganary swords" and started "Imiginary fighting" each other and praising the lord and stuff while they were doing it...

we all just kinda sat there like.. "Well.. Hmm.." - my friend looked at me and said "Well, I just dont understand this one children!" lol - but, thats another mindset I found out you have to have often with people whom you believe will never see 'your point of view' and they want you to see thiers, is you just have to say "I just dont understand that..." and move on... Ive had to say it Many Times, Ive heard the Old Timers say it many times also, when it comes to different Customs and what-not, we just say "well I just dont understand that.." lol.. and just like serpent handling Ive heard many said "well I just dont understand that.." -- its an easy answer, your not saying anything bad, or good.. and your not hurting anyones feelings.. lol

anyway, why did I reply in here, i forget... haha

She better be. She is so busy I don't know if she will notice much.  She has run me out of my coner and took over the desk top today.  I am using the laptop and I find it harder to type this way.  But she needs the desk top for some graphic work she is doing today.

Doing good.  I made home made biscuits for supper.  We had pinto beans, cole slaw, chow chow, home made biscuits and ice tea.  I made 24 biscuits not a one left.

No Robin, Jamie, Bobby and Sally were here.  I think Bobby and Sally had one each the rest the four of us ate.  It was a large pan full of biscuits.  Not very large but not real small neither.

Uhoh... that sounds like something I'd do. Especially now since I have a baby, I get so many things in my arms that I forget to look and see if I left anything else.
