Early in their youth
They always learn way too late
The reality of truth.
They're always in a hurry

Not taking time to enjoy life
Not taking time to care.
All they want are the parties,
The drugs and the booze
Until the reality happens
And they're the ones to lose.
They don't think about the parents
Or what it does to them
To see the lifeless bodies
Of their once healthy kids.
