When a mod locks it. :P
did you ever imagine you would have 5 threads?
I never thought the first one would make it to 20 pages, much less five threads. :laughhard:
And you know that the pages are 25 posts now apiece...so really thats even 100 more posts than it used to be.
You are popular...face it. ;)
Who me? face what? :paperbag:
That you are popular, and everyone loves you...sometimes you sell yourself kinda short in those matters. ;)
Can I get a witness in here of who all loves Mom? :bigcheese:

I know I sell myself short in some areas...... well, a lot of areas actually. :-( I don't know what to do about it though. I feel it's better to sell myself short because I have this fear of overconfidence and I think it's better to have less confidence than I should than to have more than I should. Make sense?

Hi Bro and Sis Yo!! :waving:
Happy Independence Day everyone!!!
whazup!! LOL happy 4th.
Hi Mom are yall having fun?
Thanks Mom and Dad for an AWESOME weekend, and for opening your home to us, and making us feel so much like we belong...thats the way it always feels at your house, and that is a huge comfort to me, and I know to Jason too. My only regret is that four days was just not enough. :sadbounce: Everything was awesome, from the food, to the fellowship, to church, chasing John with the super soaker, pegging Roy with the watermelon rinds, and all the laughs. *cough* "Clank, clank, clank....ARF!"
I really dont want to leave. :( But I am sure that we will have to come back for another visit soon enough. I think someone left their heart here.
I love yall!
***HUGE HUGS***
We enjoyed having you guys here and wish you could have stayed longer....... Dad says, that way you could have made more pumpkin cake. lol
I honestly can't express how much it meant to me that you two would make such a long trip just for us for such a short time and how much it meant to me to have some family from my side here and to see you guys just blend in with the rest of the family....... just like God knew it would be.
*HUGS and love to you and Jason* from Mom and Dad
Thanks...I told you earlier that I didnt cry when I left, but you made me cry when I read that. :(
We really, really enjoyed ourselves, and truly, it wasnt any trouble. Like I said though, I wish we could have stayed longer. We were so busy, and packed so much into those 4 days, my head is still buzzing. It meant a lot to me to know that I have a room there with my name on it, and that you guys wanted us there so badly, and went out of your way to do so much for us like you did. Dad being so excited really meant alot to me as well, cause I know that we have always belonged to you, and its nice to know that we also now belong to him.
i see that all you guys are fun, loving, generous, and Christian people. hope to see ya reel soon. maybe i'll get a trip up soon. -yo

I don't know what all God has done for you in 10 years, but I do know about many things He has done for you in the last 3 years and I know there have been some amazing changes in your life that can only come by having a submissive and obedient heart and I am so proud of you. Keep it up!!!
Awww. Thanks. That really means a lot.
I dont see it most of the time. I really dont feel like I am any different than I have always been. But I have a couple of people telling me I am, so I guess I will believe it. I am trying to be better at least, and God is faithful. He is not only Great, but he is GOOD. ;)

I'm not really sure if you would like it or not. It's not as bad as I thought it would be and when you think about it, it's no worse (healthwise and content) than eating hamburger meat or sausage. I think you should try it and just see for yourself if you like it or not.

Truth is, I'm amazed.
Amazed that there really was a "good man" around
Amazed that God thought enough of me to allow me to be with Bro. Dad
Amazed that God thought I was worthy enough for Bro. Dad
Amazed that he had such wonderful kids and grandkids and that I can share a part in their lives
Amazed at what a wonderful man Bro. Dad is and
Amazed that he loves me the way he does
Amazed that I was the one to receive the honor of being his wife . . . . . . . . . .
Amazed that it's only been 4 months!!!!! :o

I really really miss you and I have A LOT I need to talk to you about. I need a good phone call. :( But personally, I wont be able to talk till Wednesday. I have company (of course) and just a lot going on. I dont have a moment to myself.

I think my body is beginning to get adjusted to the summer here. It hasn't even been as hot here as it gets in Florida, yet it feels just as hot, possibly even hotter. However, I've never dealt very well with cold weather, so I'm not really looking forward to winter here. Maybe if it stays hot a bit longer I'll have more of an appreciation for the cold. I do hope it snows a few times here though. (Yes Seth, I confess, I'm a wintercrite) :biglaugh:
No, I don't have the warm clothes yet. But God is good and He is faithful, He always takes care of me, so I'm sure He'll work it out. :thumbsup2:

Happy Holy Ghost Birthday, Mom!!
Three years ago tonight, I watched as a Baptist born and bred Woman became re-born into truth by the infilling of the Holy Ghost...now, look where God has taken you and what you are doing now. Who woulda thunk it? ;) I am so thrilled that you were placed into this truth, and in turn touching the many lives that you have come across. You have helped and befriended many, including myself, and it does not go unoticed or unappreciated. I am so glad that God has placed you in His church, and I am equally happy that you crossed MY life. God is SO good. It amazes me what He does for us and how He loves us.
I love you! Have a great day today! (eventhough you wont see this till late Monday or Tuesday...LOL)

happy HG B-DAY, sis mom!!
Did you have a good day Sunday? What did yall do?
Thank you. God has definitely been awesome to me. There is no doubt He loves me very much.
Sunday we went to church in WVa, Dad preached (awesome preaching, as always ;) ) then we went out to eat with family (chinese buffet ) then a teeny little bit of shopping, found a bin of purses for $1, some of them were NY purses (oh yeah, in NC I'm supposed to be saying "pocketbook" according to my neice  ). Dad's SIL (from his previous marriage) was with me and we got matching purses er, um, pocketbooks. Cute little white ones. She took hers to church that night, and I felt so bad that I didn't take my because I KNEW she would take hers. So I was :pound: myself for that one. There was a missionary that night from Argentina. :thumbsup2: Then we went back to Dad's Aunt's house where my SIL and her family was staying and we ate leftovers from the family reunion and spent some more time with them. It was a good day.
Glad you all are back

Yeah, we used to have a lot of fun. I know Justin, Melody and Giggles could always get me out of the house and up and going and enjoying fellowship with others when nobody else could (Remember the time you guys tricked me into going to TGIFridays to see where I worked? :laughhard: ). Those were good times and I'm very thankful for all of you and the influence you guys have had on my life. You each have taught me some things about myself, helped me to see that I could do more than I thought I could, showed me that people can be genuine, showed me how to laugh at myself and that there is such a thing as good clean fun. Now we are at different stages of our lives. I'm enjoying married life and looking forward to what God has in store for us and for you guys too!!!! Love you all!
THAT was classic Justin manipulation!! :laughhard: You are one of the hardest people to get out of the house when you had your mind made up not to go anywhere...I remember 4th of July before last I tried and tried to get you out, and you REFUSED to go. :smirk2: That was one time I couldnt coax you out. I was madder at myself for failing than I was at you for refusing!
I agree though, we are all in the diffrent stages of life now, and its all good, but it does make you miss the old times. But, you are right...there is lots to look forward to.

No, as a matter of fact, tonight it went out on me completely. Pastor decided to have a prayer meeting tonight and we got there 30 minutes early for prayer so I was praying for a couple of hours and toward the end my voice just totally went. I told Dad God was probably blessing him by taking my voice for a while so he don't have to listen to me and someone else said he probably prayed it on me because I lost my glasses. :hypocrite:
