What do you most enjoy about summer?
Have you ever been out on a jetty, and clambered beyond the foghorn?
Do you like wearing strappy sandals?

Well, there's simply something ever so wonderful about GP scruff.  It is, in and of itself, perfection.  Plus, I have excellent taste!   :freaky2:

Is Kloey your REAL name?
My given name is Sarah Leigh, but Kloey might as well be my name.  I've answered to it for the last decade.  Long story long, my Mother is every bit as silly as I am.  Previously, we lived by the Williams boys, who, it turns out, had crushes on me.  Back then, I was 14 and very unaware of said crushes.  In any event, my Mother came home one evening, placed her hands upon her hips, looked at me, and gleefully uttered, "Cleo!  Cleo Williams."  My dear friend Kyndal decided that Cleo!  Cleo Williams was much too much for her, so she rounded it off to Kloey.  I tried to shake it, but after a few years, I made my peace with it.

Are you coming to Oklahoma?
Thus far, my supervisor has not approved my leave request.  As summer approaches, our call volume increases on a seemingly daily basis.  Silly criminals have no regard for my desire to engage in a wonderful water balloon fight!

Crayons, coloring books, bubble gum, signing, Jesus, my jump rope, playing the Wii, and a finely dressed Apostolic/Pentecostal man praising the Lord, etc...

Oh, Brannon knows I adore GP scruff.
Living in Florida, I have to say that summer brings warmth, which works for me.  Oh, and the swimming.  My, but it is lovely to find a secluded spot and swim until your muscles are perfectly exhausted.  Then there are quiet evenings by the lake, the sun-warmed waters gently lapping the grass-covered shore.  It is simply a time of peace and restoration.
As to strappy sandals, I adore 'em.  Isn't that a requirement of being an Apostolic lady?

				Great answers.

				Lady Sarah Leigh,
Anything we here can do to nudge your supervisor into approving your leave request? Put in a request for your assistance with a case here in Oklahoma? It would be trie, because, not only do I typically at least superficially read through over a hundred cases a year, all of us coming to the meetup would qualify as nutcases, too!

Why don't you just tell your boss that you need time to go see your intended?    (you don't have to say it is an intended water balloon target!!)

Well, you all can say a prayer or two... ;).  I'm preparing to be subpoenaed, as I've taken some insane calls lately.  I had my first murder/suicide call, first attempted murder (not sure if they guy has died yet or not, so at this point, it's still attempted, but it could go full-fledged homicide), and a few other things that tend to be high on the priority list.  Not really looking forward to it, but it's part of the job.
As to you all being cases, this is true, but you're a lovely bunch of nuts.  There are times I get downright giddy while reading the various interactions of our members on here.  It just tickles me so!

Foregoing medical emergencies limited to immediate family only, it is rather difficult to get leave approved on such short notice.  Around here, two weeks is considered short notice, even.  I have always tried to provide at least one to three months advance notice.
In the event that I am unable to go, I demand a group phone call!  Chel has my number and I expect it to be used!   :hypocrite:

My birth certificate says it is, but I'm not sure that my Mother or Kyndal remember that it's truly my name, as opposed to Kloey...

You realize, of course, that Jesus hearts me, right?
1. Thou shalt have no other gods before me.
2. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
3. Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain.
4. Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5. Honour thy father and thy mother.
6. Thou shalt not kill.
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery.
8. Thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
10. Thou shalt not covet.
