Title: Can a vegetarian eat?
Post by: Brother Dad on May 02, 2008, 01:56:29 PM
I noticed on Cheeseads site that the seal was broken in his animal crackers.  Made me wonder about a question.  So here goes.
Can a vegetarian eat animal crackers?

This can be different. Life's questions.

Why is a round pizza put in a square box?

Can you cry under the water?

Is it still called a hearing when deaf person goes to court?

If you have a cured ham, what disease did it have?

Will you be fired if you drink Pepsi at a Coke factory?

Does a person have to be important before they are considered assassinated instead of just plain murdered?

I think Chel was answering the question "Can a vegetarian eat?" Not the question "Can a vegetarian eat animal crackers?"

So if she is answering the former question, she is right, the latter, notsomuch. ;)

Can a vegetarian eat an animal cracker? the answer to this is an absolute yes! all vegetarians have the same makeup as omnivores, and carnivores- especially those of the homo-sapien species! There is not a single mechanical reason why they would not be able to consume an aminal cracker.
now if you were asking would they- that depends on the personal convictions of the animal cracker eatee, which happens to vary from person to person, but if you go by the rules of not having any meat or products of animals- the animals crackers could still be deemed safe for vegetarian consumption. :REG:
:laughhard:
I am 100% sure of what I just said! hehe!

(sorry for the caps!)

ENRICHED FLOUR (WHEAT FLOUR, NIACIN, REDUCED IRON, THIAMINE MONONITRATE (VITAMIN B1), RIBOFLAVIN (VITAMIN B2), FOLIC ACID), SUGAR, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, PARTIALLY HYDROGENATED SOYBEAN OIL, YELLOW CORN FLOUR, CALCIUM CARBONATE (SOURCE OF CALCIUM), ***WHEY***,  BAKING SODA, SALT, SOY LECITHIN (EMULSIFIER), ARTIFICIAL FLAVOR.

The only thing in the whole ingrediant list from this particular brand that could possibly get them out of the list is Whey- which is a derivitive of milk. In other words- it again depends on the strictness of the person doing the chewing... lol, and on who made it.

SNACKIMALS Animal Cookies, HAIN KIDZ Animal Cookies, and COUNTRY CHOICE Animal Cookies are all recepies that are approved by total vegetarians. They do not contain the whey,or even the refined sugar. :D

Yes we can

I am a vegetarian, but not by choice.

Animal Crackers have no meat content, therefore I can eat them without pain!

No. It only makes vibrations. Sound is not sound until those vibrations reach something that has the capacity to turn those vibrations into noise.

No, it needs the sunlight's spectrum to make color. That's why at dusk on a cloudy day everything looks black and white.

Babies wake up almost every two hours or so, then why say, "sleep like a baby"?

Why did man walk on the moon before it was discovered that wheels could be put on luggage?

Why go to the top of a tall building only to put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?

Money does not grow on trees then why do banks have branches?

Can Bald people have Hairline fractures?

What's the difference between a novel and a book?

How old are you before it can be said you died of old age?

If nobody buys a ticket to a movie do they still show it?

If someone owns a piece of land, do they own it all the way to the center of the earth?

If you have a cold hot pocket, is it just a pocket?

The traditional Gummi Bear is made from sugar, glucose syrup, starch, flavouring, food coloring, citric acid, and gelatin. There are also some types of Gummi Bears made with pectin or starch instead of gelatin, making them suitable for vegans.
