For you to have found a new love for blogging...why is your blog been so quiet for the last week or so?
QuoteSo.. Really.. An ear is a house for....?
Earwax. :P Don't judge me, I was a creative kindergartener! *grin*
QuoteWho's your favorite veggietales character?
Oooo, this is tough. Probably Larry. He's just so likeable!

Some time soon - before the year 2042, at least! ;)
Quotewhose your favorite little sister?
Ohh, you know, the tall one.. What's her name, again? ;) Juuuust kidding! It's Leah, of course! ;)
QuoteWhat do you do with all your free time?
I'm sorry.. I don't understand the question. What is this 'free time' you speak of? ;)
QuoteFor you to have found a new love for blogging...why is your blog been so quiet for the last week or so?
Well, I blog during my 'free time' (*grin*) and I don't have enough of that lately. I tend to scribble my thoughts down rather than typing them, so when I transfer my notes to my computer, I'm sure I'll have a ton more posts, all at once. lol!

Quotewhat's one fun memory that you and leah have together?
Hmm.. We have SO many! It's hard to choose one, really.. We always make the best memories, like cooking enough food to feed an army, or laughing until we spit out beverages, or driving/dancing/singing all at once. *grin* We just have fun bein' around each other. ;)
Quotewhere is your favorite place to be?
Hmm.. Almost anywhere, but I really, REALLY love the beach. ;)

As long as YOU take a picture with me, too. We'll post it with two smileys. *grin*
Quoteare you going to OK?
That would be a no... I can't afford it because I'm already committed other places... :) Plus, the whole 'committed other places' thing poses a problem with timing. lol!
...But I'm open next year in some spots. Oregon and Texas and Florida and Wherever else sound just dandy to me! ;) ;)
haha @ the 2 smileys! lets do it!
just let me know when you are gonna be in TX!
when is your nephew due? where do they live?
June 23rd, I believe (bad auntie, I'm not precisely sure! lol) and they (my brother, s-i-l, and two perfect, gorgeous, fantabulous nephews) live in Houston. ;)
so they are going to have 3 boys? too cool! lol.
how long are you coming down for?
Yep, tres ninos. I'm excited. If they can't handle 'em, I'll take a few off their hands. *grin*
I'm not sure.. However long I can squeeze out of the trip. ;) I expect a week or two..
too cool! that will be a blast for you!
what are your favorite boy's names?
what are your favorite girl's names?
and as for a sister, isn't it just amazing how much fun you can have together? my sister and i travel so perfectly together because we just talk and laugh and laugh and talk and find new things to discover and we never run out of things to talk about and laugh about. i am so glad that God gave me my sister. *smile*
I think it will, Chel - nephew cuddling ALWAYS brings warm fuzzilies! *grin*
My favorite boy name: Noah Weston
My favorite girl name: Ava Gracelynn Elizabeth (both parents' names are worked in there, so I like it. ;))
I love traveling with Leah - except when she goes to sleep and I have to drive alone! :biglaugh: We always have fun, though. ;)
Mel, I updated my blog. You shamed me into doing it. :biglaugh:

Probably Dave Barnes' 'Nothing Fancy' - it's adorable. I'm loving James David Carter's music (he's currently unsigned, but he's got some of his music on his myspace page) too. Also a fan of Phil Wickham..
Gosh, the list goes on and on!
and what is your current favorite book?
Did you ever find someone to cook for you?
Whose your favorite Buckeye? :teeth:
Hmm.. I haven't read a non-academic book in so long, it's ridiculous. I really don't have a current favorite!
I've got to fix that. ;)
I didn't find anyone to cook for me, Ashlee, about which I am painfully bitter. *grin*
Tara, since I really have no opinion about the buckeyes, I pick the cutest one. :biglaugh:

who is your favorite author?
where is your favorite place?
Did you know that I read your blog all the time, and most of the time, you make me laugh? Thanks!
Lady Rachel,
How many hearts did you break in June?
John :waving::bustamove:
My favorite flower... That's a tough one. Flowers of all kinds make me happy - daisies or buttercups or roses or orchids, it doesn't matter. I've not met a flower that I DON'T love. ;)
My favorite author is actually a team, Brock and Bodie Thoene. They've got meticulous detail and skillful storytelling - my favorites are their series on WWII. And, you know, this awesome lady named Kris. She's a great storyteller, too. ;)
My favorite place is definitely the beach. I love the sound of the water and the warm sand!
Mel, I didn't know that, but I'm so glad! Thank you for reading - it's an honor to ramble for ya. ;)
John, I didn't do any permanent damage to anyone's heart in June, I don't think. I'm safe from scandal this time. :hypocrite:

lol - I do like the south. ;) I don't hate any place that I've been, really - but I CAN say that my favorite is the beach. *grin*
thanks, lani, you're a sweetie! :pwink:
i like the thoenes, too, but haven't ready any of their stuff in a long, long time. the shiloh legacy series is my ultimate favorite of theirs. i worked with a guy that i swear was jefferson canfield stepped out of the book.
what is your favorite children's book?
what will you do with your degree when you get it?
do you have a favorite thoene character? who is it?
;)
Quote from: newkris on July 09, 2008, 02:31:59 AM
what is your favorite children's book?
When I was in Pre-K I loved 'Are You My Mother?' so much that I 'published' my own construction paper version, complete with illustrations, narration, my author's bio on the back, and a medal of excellence on the cover.
True story. I was a meticulous 4-year-old. :biglaugh:
Now, I love to read to my nephews, but they usually choose the books. So far, they've loved Veggie Tales and Bibleman books, so I'm more than happy to oblige them.
Quote from: newkris on July 09, 2008, 02:31:59 AM
what will you do with your degree when you get it?
I want to do family counseling and university-level teaching eventually, but I'm more interested in marketing and graphics right now, so when I'm finished with my BA, I'm going to try for acceptance into a graduate program focused more on the creative side. Psychology will be a large part of marketing, so it won't hurt, and later on, I can switch gears and go for my PhD.
Quote from: newkris on July 09, 2008, 02:31:59 AM

I do! Elisa Lindheim from The Zion Chronicles. She's beautiful, she's brave, and Murphy is in love with her - although Murphy himself might be a hot contender for the number one spot. *grin*
i hate when u type up a reply, and hit post and it doesnt post...the internet freezes or something

Some stars DO shine brighter in TX. ;) Just maybe not ALL the stars that shine brightest in MY world. ;)

Do pinkwink anytime. I'm in favor! *grin* And to answer your question, Ruby, I'm alive, but snowed under (only figuratively) and rarely have wireless access. It's not really nice of me to hog borrowed computers, so my poor blog is a little neglected lately. :smirk2:

Justin told me that Friday night and I was wondering if you knew.
lol - nope, no Obama ads. I am currently refraining from politics. *grin* Unless anyone would like to vote for me as a write in... ;)
Yes, Mel, I knew. They let me know it was happening. :) He's still going to be around St. Pete somewhat, but it'll be a stronger administration on the home front with him being free to travel.
Kewl, just making sure you were in the loopy loop. ;)
Yeppers! I left part of my heart on the beach, remember? *grin* They couldn't be rid of me if they tried! ;)
Yeah I figured. I knew you loved it here, and you loved being so involved with that church...I should have known it was old news to you!! LOL
:biglaugh: I do love it there, and I adore the people there. I keep in contact with most of them on a pretty regular basis!
Do you experience the myoclinic jerk while going through the levels of sleep?
Several times in my life, actually. Not frequently, but when it happens, it's definitely memorable. I wake up shaking and shocked, but it generally doesn't keep me from falling back to sleep eventually. ;)

What do you like to do to relax?
Wow, I haven't been here in ages! I may as well answer, though, right? ;)
The easiest way for me to relax is to clean. I don't know why, but the feeling of accomplishment helps me relax, probably because I'm not stressing about how I should be doing something. So I might straighten the house then sit down with a cup of tea and a book/movie/tv show.
:o I always suspected - now I now. You're nuts. Positively nuts.
But since you are... you can come clean my house too. *grin* And then I'll sit down with you for that cup of tea. ;)

I find household chores to be therapeutic unless there are so many that I feel overwhelmed.
