Hope You Enjoyed Our Wedding.
Ohhhh....so you recently got the Holy Ghost! Sweet! Im assuming that both of you now attend church?
Thank You! Yes we both now attend church. Of course we now need some new pics since we look even more different. lol Maybe I will work on that this week. I always liked looking at everybody else's wedding pics.
Mz. Yo
aww, Mrs Yosemite, I love how naturally beautiful people look after they get the Holy Ghost and you are no exception. Belated Congrats!
that was the cheap-----ah----best wedding ever.LOL i loved it out ther on the lake. the wind, the water, the fish--i mean vows. i just wished she'd let loose of that pitch fork.LOL thnx yo
I appreciate the compliment.
I guess before I got the Holy Ghost, I thought I was "HOT STUFF" or something. I was one to never go outside or even to the mailbox without being all dolled up. It was a little hard at first, like walking in front of a mirror and seeing somebody else. Kinda went thru a little identity thing there. I would run into people in walmart or in stores. Their eyes and mouth would fly open in total disbelief and the first thing they would exclaim is, " WHAT HAPPENED!!!" haha (I must have been terrible or something!) So it was a major change on the inside and out. All this happened about 4 months after we married. lol
After my hair started growing out another color, and not being used to seeing myself differently in the mirror I was so scared that my husband would'nt be attracted to the changes. But I meant business when I got filled with the Holy Ghost and I was going to continue to mean business.
I had to really humble down to get to the point that I could change my dress code according to God's Word. All the thick mascara was the hardest thing to shed off. Now when I look back at the picture I think of Tammy Baker. lol I guess it took a little adjusting for him also. But I guess the Lord helped him thru it cause he's still hangin around! :great: He says he likes me better without all the red lipstick getting all over him and he doesnt have to wait 2 hours for me to get ready anymore. haha
ooh! I wanna see the "now" pictures! Have the hubby take some and put em up Sister! That'd probably be a cool thread...
:waving:
HOWDY!! COOL GUY. :waving: AIN"T GOD GREAT!!!! Its a beautiful morning and I'm already up! (Yosemite is still snoaring like a chain saw.) But I got my bowl of rice crispies and LIFE IS GOOD. hehe
Howdy!
He sure is...
It's a beautiful day here, too, and I'm working.
Luckily I get off at 2:00. :)

Love the new light in your eyes, Mrs. Yo. :-)

I made it myself. I do alot of wedding stuff like cake toppers and bouquets and all that artsy stuff. I've decorated a few weddings and I made my own veil by taking a big piece of tulle and cutting it into a round shape. (The diameter = to length.) Then I sewed satin ribbon all around the edge. This took a long time. Then I folded it into a half cirlce. Then gathered it all up in the center and hot glued it to a headband and fixed little flowers on it.
Thanks for all the compliments. :pump
Wow. Now I know who to call when - errr - if I ever - get married. That's way cool!
Last Friday Sister Mom and myself were blessed to meet Mr. & Mrs. Yosemite. They are awesome people just hated we didn't have more time to spend with them.

When you start planning your wedding, give me a holla. You can tell me all about what you
want to do and I can throw some ideas your way. Then you can plan yourself to sleep! Try not to snore. hehe
AWSOME! Just awsome! Such simple things put together to look like first class high priced wedding decorations!
Hey, I'd recommend you to my friends but most of them are already married.
Thanks! Sis. I remember how frustrating it is trying to find pretty things for a wedding though. Just because stuff is labeled or classified wedding, along comes a stiff price tag. Thats why I got into tryin to do cakes. Walmart charges about $17 to $24 to make a regular blank white cake for a birthday. If you tell Walmart you want blank white cake for a wedding, well all of a sudden it's $80.
I always liked helping out though. Im trying to get a little flower/cake/wedding shop going here at home. Now I find out they are putting in a fancy funeral home or cemetary past our property line. So I guess I need to start experimenting on grave flowers too.
Yep.. When all the big wedding shindig is over, then you just wished you'd spent all that money on a trip.

My camera batteries were down and there was no where to get any. I didnt get to take any pics of Sis Mom and Bro Dad. :( But if I get a chance to see them again, they will think they stepped out on the Red carpet!!. hehe
Nice! You do nice work. I did my daughter's wedding cake. (along with quite a few others) She didn't want white cake, so I used different types of cake on the inside and used cream cheese frosting. It turned out pretty.
Love Your Avatar, Practicalme !! Thats how I look sometimes. lol :smirk:

Yes, well the humidity does bad things to my hair... ;)
:laughat: I don't even have a lot of humidity to blame! Better head to Texas for a good excuse.
Do you guys still live in Tupelo?? My brother lives in Tupelo and goes to Bro. Larry Hills church.

Cool stuff! Looks like you have a blast! I used to help my mother with wedding cakes and such. When the times comes (one of these centuries), I have all the crystal look pillars and plates for my cake, as well as assorted flowers in various colors and a WHOLE bunch of other stuff in storage at my grandparents' home and at my aunt's house.
I've already been planning myself to sleep for YEARS now. lol The only part I can't seem to plan successfully is that groom thing. It keeps eluding me for some reason. Any ideas on how to plan THAT part? :hypocrite:

Have a groomless wedding. You can wear the pretty dress, have a reception with yummy cake!
I wouldnt worry too much about the groom. He's probably off someplace and hasnt got a CLUE about you yet either. lol God Knows. And that's always good to know.

I once had a dream that I did that!! lol I was approaching the altar and there was no groom.
But if I do that, Sis, who would I take on my honeymoon!??!?! :o
Mrs. Yo: I agree. Yes, it IS good to know that HE has it all in control. As much as I like to tease, I *do* know that for a fact.

:eyebrow:
Somehow, I think that my teddy bear would be lacking JUST A BIT in the conversational skills department. :smirk2:
Now a REAL LIFE teddy-bear type... THAT might not be a bad thing! :freaky2:
That's weird. I dreamt one night that I had a wedding all by myself. lol Thats a weird feeling.
