Dear Brannon,
Did you know that there are now 33 ask threads in the "Ask Away" area?
Of those, 29 are unlocked and still somewhat active.
And two members actually have two threads in their honor.
And now you have one. :D
So...when are you gonna correct the fader? AND....add my little :chair : smiley?
And...am I in trouble now?
I'm likin' this thread already. *grin*
I'll be back later.

does it bug you when people mis-pronounce your name?
after they do it for the 15th time, do you keep correcting them... or only correct them when they ask if they are saying it right?
and is your hair longer... or your face skinnier? REG! (sorry, had to add that one in as well... lol)
Well, if nobody has ever heard your name pronounced, how could they do it correctly?

I think I have it figured out but I'll ask anywho.... Do ya suppose that part of you that likes perfection is because of your mathematical mind? That people who do a lot of math are more logical, therefore order oriented?

Computer Science... :teeth: lol That's actually my first major. Applied Math is my second.
I think Calc 4 may be my favorite math class, so far. It was pretty sweet to take all of the stuff we learned in previous calculus and apply it to three dimensions. Linear Algebra was pretty cool, though, too.

Yep! Spouses and kids are welcome. :teeth:

no musical talent or interest needed - about half of us were not attending music fest and only there for GP - just went to the free or cheap evening concerts
I don't know why we have to wait a year though - how about 3-6 months?
Flights to NYC from all over the country are frequent and usually affordable, especially when booked three months in advance...

It would have to be a combination of a few people, actually - my youth pastor and my pastors. My youth pastor has been a friend of mine for a long time before he was ever my youth pastor. I love his approach to worship and his excitement about the things of God. As far as my pastors, while I know they're not perfect, they're the closest I've seen to the term "Christian."

If you had to??
Would you take your own medicine?
If you were banned from America, which country would you pick to live in?
Have you ever had a fake ID?
Have you ever gotten your lips stuck in a gate?
Or been stung by a bee, right on your lips?
Do you have a bellybutton?
Do you have a sports utility vehicle?

Have you ever been to StuffMart?

Yes, they do. They even know about some specific people from Godplace. :up2:
Two of them are two-tone yellow (lighter above, darker below), one is just the lighter yellow, and one is an underwater mural (complete with dolphins).

It takes me about 20-30 seconds to do my hair.
If I have to shave, it takes me 30-45 minutes to get ready for church. Otherwise, it's about 30 minutes.
If I get up on time, getting ready for school takes like 20-30 minutes. If I don't get up on time, I get ready in like 5-10 minutes. lol

I'll definately be going for that week, provided plans don't fall apart. the only part of the music fest I'll be doing is the evening concerts. The day sessions mean nothing to me as what they'd be teaching wouldn't help what I have to do as far as music ministry.

How many brothers and sisters do you have?
The simple answer to this question is that I have 2 sisters and 1 brother. The more complicated answer is that I have 1 sister, 1 step-sister, and 1 cousin. 99% of the time, I just go with the simple answer, as that's what I consider to be the case.
Quote from: teacheroftheLord on June 23, 2008, 03:27:17 AM

Do you want whirled peas?
Have you ever played "Blue Christmas" on a kazoo?
What was the last thing you ate?
Have you ever played Settlers of Catan?
Do you know what an augmented ii chord is?
:beret:

I asked the wife tonight, and she said yes, they tried out for that church, and they didnt feel like it was right, so the moved on, and she said she heard later that they found a pastor that they really like, and she was glad.
She also remembers Darla, but she didnt remember her till I described Mattison. THEN she knew who I was talking about! ;)

Where have you been all this time?
And for everyone else...Why is the forum making everyone log in over and over and some of the boards are not visible at times?
