It's winter in Wisconsin
And the gentle breezes blow,
70 miles per hour
At 52 below!
Oh, how I love Wisconsin
When the snow's up to your rear.
You take a breath of winter air
And your nose is frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful,
I guess I'll hang around.
I could never leave Wisconsin,
'Cause I'm frozen to the ground.
I can not relate...sorry.
I can so relate. :biglaugh:
Only difference being... I still love winter. *grin*
:beret:
I can relate
i can relate as well.. byt i've lerned to enjoy it or just stay insides the house for the day.
Of course you can relate! You LIVE there! :laughhard:
lol, i dunno why but i actually chuckled at that/
I suppose cuz I meant it to be funny!
the only thing better than winter in WI . . .
is winter in MN.
love that cool, crisp air!
Pretty close, though.
yeah, as you know, we tend to stay pretty close up here. helps to close in the warmth. :pwink:

And makes things more interesting, too! :freaky2:
:o. :sadbounce: Maybe I need to move to Wisconsin.
Oh, move to Minnesota with Kris and Scott! :laughhard:
Wouldn't do me any good. Scott's married and Kris is a woman. lol
hahaha! that is a truism! :pwink:
lots of revival in WI.
i know of one single man for sure . . . :laughhard:
sorry.
i'll repent.
:pwink: maybe.
only one? *sigh*
Good grief, how many do you want?
only one in particular . . . but yeah . . . i wouldn't recommend him.
um, yeah, how many do you want? a whole line up to choose from? :pwink:
of course, you must understand that most of the men who talk to me are 20 or gay so . . . yeah. you might have better luck where you're at. :smirk2:
Well, I'm only 21, so 20 isn't that bad. As for the gay ones...well, my freind has already mentioned once about taking my men away from me, so he may enjoy it there more than I would.

*L*
I spent three years in Alaska, so I can definitely "relate".
............. HOWEVER!, ............... my annoying "seventh sense" is kicking in, so I just have to mention that the second verse (or "stanza", or whatever it's called) just isn't quite right. The last line needs to end in a word that rhymes with "rear"; therefore the line "And your nose is frozen shut" just doesn't work - that last word "shut" stands out quite awkwardly.
But, .... since poems, like music, allow quite a bit of liberty on issues of grammar, that line could instead be changed to read "And your nose is frozen sheer" (as in "utterly" or "completely"), which would both rhyme
and be grammatically permissible!!
Woo-hoo!
Ok. That's all. I'm done.
:loopy:
Me thinks the original word was changed to rear. :laughhard:

*LOL* Yeah, that sounds about right.
*JD tries to think of other possible combinations* hmmmmmm? How about,
-- "When the snow's up to your hiney ... And your nose is frozen and shiny."
-- "When the snow's up to your hiney ... And your nose is frozen - Oh blimey!"
-- "When the snow's up to your rump ... And your nose is frozen as hard as a stump." ;)
:laughat:
Wisconsin is right next to Minnesota in the cold NORTHland.

Actually they DO pay for snow here. The buy the stuff to make a snow hill around Christmas each year.
I guess Ski resorts do that, too. Have snow making machines.

Hmm. Tough coice.
Problem is... ya can only take off so much when yer hot. :smirk2:
You could find a nice cozy cabin to hide out in during the cold weather...
Yep. That I could. Maybe I'll become a hermit this winter. :smirk2:
That's a NICE cabin!
Isn't it though?
Nice deck, too!
I know. I would LOVE to have a place like that.
I would love to have a get-away like that. Where I could go to the snow if I felt like it then when I'm fed up with snow come back here.
Prexactly. :thumbsup2:
