i know that most of us are not catholic who post here, but i saw this posted on my school's main page for today. got me to thinking . . .
what do you think? what will you do?
Reflections for Lent: Monday of the first week of Lent (Feb. 11)
"Come, beloved, into your inheritance" (Matthew 25:34).
Today's Question: What will YOU do today to nudge the nation, the Church, the community toward God, toward transformation?
I gave up lint for Lent. I have vowed to change my dryer's lint catcher at least twice a week now, and also to pay much closer attention to my belly button.
In five years, 100 pounds of lint were collected from Carlsbad Cavern
I wonder if i can get all the stuff i lent back...
Ummm.... Kris Darlin? Your thread got :pwink: almost before it had begun. ;)
:beret:
i know. bunch a heathens. i would NEVER do that to someone . . .well, sometimes i wouldn't, i mean . . . if it was something serious and had no words in it that i could possibly borrow another meaning from like lent . . . and if it was a sunday following a monday . . . and . . um.
yeah.
who am i to complain?
besides, the line of lint and lent and lending had me laughing all day . . .
some of us just laugh at everything, i think.
:pwink: go pink pack! :pwink:
