Title: Happy Birthday Song
Post by: BroTrey on April 06, 2007, 09:37:11 PM
Seeing how its my birthday and all, I am wondering, how many different versions of happy birthday songs do you know?

Off the top of my head I can think of at least 3, but I dont want to spoil all the fun so I'll stick with just one, the most obvious:

"Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday To You, Happy Birthday Dear Travis, Happy Birthday To You....And MANY MORE."

Now how about any others?

Be careful, you just  violated copyright law by reproducing the words to the birthday song without express written permission of Time Warner, the owner of the copyright for "Happy Birthday", or ASCAP, which manages the licensing of the copyright.  Since "Happy Birthday" earns Time Warner over $2 Million USD in annual royalties, you might want to send in your 5¢ usage fee for writing out the lyrics.

Happy Birthday's copyright is due to expire in 2030.
