When I was in ohio, Every church up there all went to Friches on saturday nights.. I Love Friches, they have the Best Tarter Sauce.. that stuff has crack in it...
But, now in Berea Kentucky, everyone goes to Marios, wich Is good.. but, its packed with church people every nite, so dont go in there if you dont want seen.. lol
Ooh! Hmm.. Texas Roadhouse, Burger King, Dairy Queen, Chili's, Pizza Hut, Wing Stop, Don Bravos...
It depends....
Crazy's Chinese Buffet - pricey
the Pig Trough (aka Old Country Buffet) - I refuse to go
Fat Nat's Eggs ( only open until 2pm)
Friday's
Chili's
Applebees
Bacon and Egg Cafe
Don Pablo's
Our church goes to Pizza Hut every Sunday night---there is a room reserved for us and has been for 15 years.
When we lived back home we normally all went to Acambarros. Good stuff!

When I lived in Kendallville we had the same thing! The manager went to our church! :)* It did get old after a while though.
Don't normally go anywhere.
A lot of "older" people here, so the Old Country Buffet is popular, but I try not to be caught dead there -so Famous Daves BBQ is the place! Or the Olive Garden.

It does get old! Sometimes Clint and I will just get a salad and the boys will eat a lg pan bread with cheese. Super cheap! We normally get free drinks so that is nice.
im craving mario's Chicken Taco Salad and a Cherry Pepsi right now!!! - - - lol.. I need to start going back to church, just so I can go out to eat with everyone afterwards haha!
Hardly ever go out after church.
:beret:
Wednesday Night: Chick-Fil-A
Sunday Morning: Varies
Sunday Night: Coram's (Basically a breakfast type place that also does hamburgers, sandwiches - like Waffle House, Huddle House, etc. only 100 times better) or Applebees
Panera Breads, Applebees, Chili's, Pollo Tropical, Tijuana Flats, Pizza Hut, Outback... Those are just a few. There's a couple of sushi places I can't remember the names of that are popular, too.
I'm trying to usher in a new trend, though - lately, people have been coming over here and we'll all cook something and split the cost of the groceries. MUCH cheaper and a lot more fun!
Since we started coming to a church with 2:00 pm service on Sunday. Most people do not go out to eat. They just go home and eat.

That's the best way to do it! We've been doing it like that! It's great!

You beat me to it....
I go with her 99.9% of the time....except on Sunday mornings. I go home and take a nap, eating is optional on Sunday afternoon and normally loses rank to sleeping.
BUT before I had a job where I HAVE to sleep on sunday afternoon, it was one of three places. Po Folks, Western Steer, or Hong Kong.
BTW I think that THIS Wednesday night we need to switch it up and go to Corams....we havent been in a couple of weeks, and I am wanting a big greasy cheeseburger and crispy fries...
With my church I never know where we'll be going after church. This past sunday we went to taco bell after morning service and Fazoli's after evening service. favorites among my group seem to be....
taco bell
the new main moon (chinese)
pizza hut
mi pueblo
It always varies. The only thing to do in Lake Charles is to eat. But usually we go to logans because that where half our group loves to eat. ewww lol
I wish we had a logans.

Peir Park.
Well, actually, over the last few years this has become a pet peeve of mine.
Prior to getting into the church I never ate huge meals right before going to bed. Now I can't seem to sleep without them.
Why do we need to eat full meals 30 minutes before we go to bed all in the name of fellowship? All that results in in over the long run is huge people (such as moi).
I think we really need to find new ways to fellowship after evening services. How many calories (which is energy) does one actually need to ingest to have the energy to sleep? Not as many as they are taking in, I can assure you. So, the rest just turns to fat!
We need some ideas and a way to spread those ideas around for alternatives to eating out after evening services in the name of fellowship. Otherwise, at our current rate, we all may be needing to purchase two seats apiece in airplanes when we fly to General Conference!
:biglaugh: Okay, you've got a point...but seems to me there was an awful lot of eating going on in the book of Acts, as well.

True, true! :thumbsup2:
We go to Applebee's the most...ive been there 4 times a week many times. :o The manager even came to church and got the holy ghost!
We also go to Chili's, Ruby Tuesdays, Zaxby's, Buffalo Wild Wings, and some local mexican and chinese places. Yum!
I go to bed almost as soon as I go home.....lol
We go to the Dip (Diplomat). A Canadian-Chinese restaurant in town.. So good and opened 24 hrs!
It all depends... Lately, we have been going to Cheddars, Ihop, Applebee's, or Perkins... well this past time we went to Dixie Chili cause we didn't want to travel far.
Sunday afternoons we usually hit up a place called Dynasty (chinese.)
But there are many places around here... Green Derby, Frisches, Joe's CrabShack, Don Pablo's, Johnny Rockets, Dewey's Pizza, Buckhead Mountain Grill. My husband and I are always up for anything.

Man my wife gonna beat me when i get married. Hopefully she only knows Curly, Larry, and Moe attacks lol :laughhard:

I think I have a hearing loss, but sometimes, that works to my advantage... :freaky2:

Update:
at the church I go to now, its always..
Friches on Saturday Night
Crackerbarrel Sunday Afternoon
McDonalds Sunday Night
Wendys Wednesday night
any day other than after Sunday morning service, seems it comes down to what restaurants are open late enough to facilitate a, even small group after church. But we tip well for the ones that do!
McDonalds
Unless there's a visiting minister over; then we go to Mansini's or Pancakes on the Rocks.
right now it's all about Macado's

Taste of India is my #2 restaurant in the world!! BUT my #1??????
:fork: Texas De Brazil :fork:
http://www.texasdebrazil.com/ Run your cursor over "Menu" and click on "Meats" in the drop down
about 15 different kind of meats to eat! The cook all of the meat on these 3 foot long skewers and the servers bring it to your table, fresh right off of the charcoal grill. They even have Bacon Wrapped Filet Mignon! Man, my mouth is watering now!
After church I usually stop at Burger King and get something good to eat.
I think I said this before, but normally we go home after church and if it is summer time we grill out. BUT, we do stop by Costco for the huge hot dog or large slice of pizza after a trip around looking for samples :thumbsup2:
However, once in a while it is Ci Ci's Pizza on Sunday or if we go out after a night service we may stop at Applebees for halfprice appetizers, Buffalo Wild Wings for half price wings or a local mexican joint for the 3 large taco's for $3.00 special, some times the 3 of us will split 2 mexican Pizza's and are out for under $8.00 (water to drink).
I have always remembered a comment I heard while watching the state funeral for Richard Nixon. It was mentioned that his family never went to restaurants all the time he was growing up and living in his parent's house. All the meals were home made.

When I was a kid, my parents worked separate shifts. Our ''going out'' to eat was Friday nights. My mom would send me on my bicycle one week to Burger King, the Next to Mc Donalds, the next to Taco Bell, the next to the Catholic Church for Fish and Chips, the next to the Big Johns Steak and Onion (a sub shop) and repeat the cycle.
If we went out to eat as a family it was while we were on vacation and never after church until I was a quizzer and the team would go out for Pizza after practice.
There are only two restaurants open in our town on Sundays, D-Docks and Bimbo's. (Yes that is the actual name of the restaurants, and the nickname of one owner and the real name of the other owner. You guess which is which.) So, if you are going to go out after church without driving thirty miles that's your choices.
lately weve all been going to a truck stop called the Country Kitchen lol.. its actually reeeeally awesome
Don't know if it's the same chain but we have a ton of Country Kitchens up here.
I love going to Mexican restaurants that serve unlimited free chips and salsa. ☺ We still order meals but not as big of ones.

ikr! lol
Golden Corral is the Wal-Mart of restaurants. Not quite McDonald's, but everything is shipped in frozen, nothing is made fresh. You could get the same quality fried squash at a convenience store.
I feel jipped... our convienced stores dont carry fried squash!
