Title: Video question.
Post by: M‡¢ĦÆŁ Ҝ on February 28, 2007, 07:02:58 PM
I have all of our home videos on DVD.  What is a good program for ripping a portion of a DVD into another format, like WMV, MOV, AVI, etc.?  There are some parts of our videos that I would like to turn into short 1-10 minute videos to share with my family back home.

I use a program called AutoGordianKnot to do the actual ripping (this will rip home-made DVD's as well as copy protected ones).  But being able to EDIT it is a whole 'nudder ball game.  My program of choice is Adobes Premier Pro 2.0, although it is about 600-700 dollars.

I use AoA DVD ripper to do the ripping, and Pinnacle for the editing (what little I do)
