I took the american revolution test and got 9 out of 10! WHOOO HOOO, you know im a history buff.

Oh and I almost ACED the Chemimstry exam, but There was a trick question. *sigh*

I took the "evil twins" word quiz, and they got one of them wrong. One question is what's the difference between "everyday" and "every day" and they said the correct answer is, one is an adjective and the other is a noun, but that's wrong because "every day" contains an adjective and a noun.
The 8th grade math quiz was easy, but there are probably a lot of 8th graders that would have a little trouble with it.
I missed one on the Spanish test.

I used to read the dictionary for fun. And I was, until recently, a daily recipient of the dictionary.com 'Word of the Day' email. *grin* I love words - heaven knows I use 'em enough! ;)

you know what's funny? I found out that only 20% of 8th graders, 24% of HS freshmen and 26% of HS seniors in Missouri can get this test 15/15.

I guess I'm somewhat lucky to have gone to school in Illinois....

56% 8th graders, 64% HS freshmen and 87% HS seniors

But yet, neither state can capitalize on the ACT/SAT and state testing........no thanks to NCLB
