Why did you do come up with the idea for sharing?

Did you ever think that it would be a staple of GP life and last this long?

GP was going through a boring stage and I myself was bored. It was late one night and "FaceintheCrowd" (a man from Amarillo,TX, I met on GP and who is now my bro-in-law) and I were IMing while we were studying. I told him I was fixing to make an interesting, useless post on GP and wanted him to try to "top" it. The first thread was titled "Let's Share. LOL." and my first post was "My toilet brush is white." He responded with the whole "I have Scooby-Doo sheets on my bed". I think Janefan (Amber), Seth, and Brannon jumped in then and things went wild. The first thread ended up with over 4000 posts and was slowing down the whole board. That is why they deleted it. Though we understood why it was done, we didn't appreciate it. The thread had been HILARIOUS. We started a continuation. The content of the thread has changed from eye-opening, wide-eye provoking, I-did-not-need-to-know nonsense to sharing our day. All is good. Quite interesting.

I'm working and traveling. Been to Wynsboro, LA, numerous cities in MS, and soon heading to Phoenix, AR. Staying busy.

Hey, sometimes sharing still contains the random eye-popping tidbits too....

And the size of the first one wasn't the only reason it closed down...there were actually a few things getting heated in it between a few members....

What three things you regret not learning to do?

If you had a chance to bring one person back from the dead, who would it be and why?

What's worse... having expectations that are too high, or having no expectations at all?
