I don't like the term Czar because it sounds too much like totalitarianism and after reading this list, I'm beginning to think that's just what the president is heading for. Maybe not, but this is a long list of presidential apointees who don't have to answer to congress or anyone else but the president. It's shocking to see how many offices there will be and people who don't have to answer to anyone but Obama!

LIST OF CZARS  fROM http://www.patriotfreedom.org/index.php

Czars usually do not require Congressional approval. In most cases there are no confirmation hearings, thus the czars are insulated from accountability to Congress. Critics say that such an arrangement threatens to increase the power of the President (who appoints these czars) beyond what is Constitutionally mandated....

FYI - Bush actually started the whole "czar craze". Look it up. He had more than Obama. Its only getting attention now because of the socialist scare.

Over an 8 yr period, Bush had a total of 48 czars.  Look it up.

Obama has 39 w/ another 13 proposed in the 1st 9 mos of his 1st term.  How many more are to come?

I just wish they'd name them something else... feel like I'm in The Soviet Union or something. Sounds like he's just delegating to other people stuff that might need attention. Their salaries can't be a bigger waste than our Congress is at present. :)

Sis

It bothers me that they are only answerable to Obama. Not to Congress like other employees are.

How do I get nominated for radio-internet Czar? :)
