Yep. I hate it. It goes down right past our church. And I'm supposed to help with the parking after church, and my brother is coming earlier than we thought, so I need a way to get out of it. Rain would be the perfect answer. It's rained all day today, the original date of the parade, but TWC says sunshine tomorrow. Lovely.

I don't. But everyone here is stir crazy about MG. we live close enough to NOLA that it is a REALLY big deal.

I never once even thought about it when I lived in Florida. Is was almost non existent. But here? Sheesh. From late Jan till march, that's about all you see EVERYWHERE. Lights, decorations, beads, cakes, parades, moon pies, drunks and parties. Makes me SICK.

Wait... moon pies?  That part I could actually go for. 

The rest of it sounds like a lot of bother, trouble and stuff you don't want to be around.  Especially if they get the beads in the traditional way...  :o

I agree Mel, I've been praying for rain the last week I DO NOT want to do this tomorrow, Plus I'm still having physical problems.
But just so you know, If you leave me with it for your brother, I WILL HUNT YOU DOWN.
