It was like one of those nightmares, where you run as fast as you can yet the terrifying monster or killer still manages to gain on you, even though they are merely sauntering towards you.
As a Virginia Tech fan, that was what it was like to watch the last 3 minutes of B.C.'s comeback win against the Hokies last night. I knew what was gonna happen, yet I couldn't avert my eyes from the horrifying spectacle. For 57 minutes the Hokies had completely shut down Matt Ryan and the Boston College Eagles, only to have it all collapse on them in those last 3 minutes.
Interesting factoid: the Hokies are 13-3 in Thursday night games, with all 3 losses coming at the hands of Boston College.
Memo to VA Tech's Athletic Coordinator and Scheduling Coordinator: Do not! ....... repeat - DO NOT ...... schedule Boston College for any more Thursday night games.
