Indeed.

Still arguing with this stupid laptop.  This is why I usually install a Windows from the OEM disk... no manufacturer's junk on startup to clear out.

I'm up to about 5 feet, 7 inches myself.  My computer is up to speed with all I want to install, now to make a backup image so I won't have to do all this junk again!

Maybe I'll make a backup image and keep it around just in case, then go completely to Linux.  In Linux all I would have had to do was make a list of programs I want in Synaptic Package Manager, hit Apply and let it run.
