Bobby some days just don't end when they should.

In theory, today dad is going to move from the hospital to rehab. Over the last three weeks we have been getting projections about leaving and then they kept retracting it. This is the closest we have gotten to the day they projected dad will leave the hospital, without retracting it yet.

If they cancel it this time, with less than half a day before he is supposed to leave here, I am going to start throwing things.

Shew Lord. In pain tonight. I decided that the crepe myrtle tree- not bush- that has lived at the west end of our house for 30 years had to go. Mainly because the old lady we bout the house from had planted a wisteria vine behind it... the vine had used the crepe myrtle as a ladder and the vines were nearly as big around as the tree branches and had turned the entire west end of my house into a jungle.  I figured two hours to cut, an hour to haul off. Piece of cake. Wrong.
Wound up being all day. The vine had tried to wrap around a highline wire, and I had to get a chain and pull pieces free one section at a time with the tractor.
I got it all on the ground and the majority hauled to the burn pile. Then I got called because a minister friend had dehydrated and been rushed to the hospital- that took a couple three hours.  Came home and ate, showered and realized that my newly repaired shoulder was sore and my right hip is throbbing. I took 3 ibuprofen and I was relaxing- but just got a call from new members who are Lou's niece and her husband and they are on the way out...so I guess I'm getting dressed and going to be host....

Well, Jenn, too bad you don't range a bit further and come visit those of us in the middle of the state... :laughhard:

Another day down. Taught last night, numbers down a bit because of sickness. Got encouraged when a visitor told me they had came because Sunday night's message had reduced them to tears. I was scratching my head because I KNEW she hadn't been there, and also because I not only feared I wasn't in the game Sunday night I wasn't sure I was in the same state as the ballfield. Just a sermon that despite knowing it was from Him and it was His will that felt blah...
She had tried to come, had car trouble and would up watching online. She said she had cried from beginning to end, would be there on Wed and sunday nights now, and then asked my assistant pastor's wife with whom she is friends about the Holy Ghost and a potential bible study. Made me happy.
Now- ready to get through tomorrow and be at the weekend...

My mom was back in the hospital. She fell this time and busted her forehead. They kept her a couple days cause her potassium was low. I took her home yesterday evening. But I'm very thankful because she was in her right mind. I've been praying for her brain. So Thankful she was coherent.

Dad is supposed to get out of the hospital today, going to rehab. They already have his first artificial foot made. The second will probably take as long as the first one did, mostly for his other leg to heal up enough for fitting.

Aside from that, life as usual. Went to w*rk, came home. Probably going to church tonight. I wonder if they still remember me there. With dad's hospital stuff it has been 2 weeks since I've been to church.

I heard a rumor that the sound was terrible last sunday. Nobody could hear anything. Maybe they miss me at church...

So thankful. My kids had new flooring done in my bathroom today for Mother's Day/birthday. It's been needing it since we took out the tub and put in a walk in shower.
Chel and a handyman friend plus her oldest boy came. It was a longer process than we expected and took all day but, it's done!  :)

Believe in the power of prayer. One time a friend of mine who was a car dealer... Yeah, a Christian car dealer, and he still made a profit somehow... Had a low business season. His wife started praying for more business. After a couple weeks he said, "Mary quit praying!"

Wore out.
That describes me. I will say after a friend prayed for me to get rest Wednesday night, I've gotten some of the best sleep ever. So much that I overslept for work TWO DAYS IN A ROW.
I texted my friend and asked him to dial down the prayer a bit- AFTER he prayed the same type of prayer over my bank account. Hey, if he's got God's ear, I want every bucket, pan and bowl full. :laughhard:
Still totally mentally tired though. Seeing some people I love making bad decisions I am unable to stop and it hurts.
