I love this thread...
Yeah, the only problem is restraint.  Even with my media player turned off, so many songs pass through my mind that I'd run up ten pages a day if I posted them all.  :P  Almost everything reminds me of a song.
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

Here I am before you
Falling in love and seeking your truth
Knowing that your perfect grace
Has brought me to this place
Because of you I freely live
My life to you, oh God, I give

So I stand before You God
I lift my voice because you set me free

So I shout out your name from the rooftops I proclaim
That I am Yours, I am yours

All the good You've done for me
I lift up my hand up hand for all to see
You're the only one
Who brings me to my knees
To share this love across the earth
The beauty of Your Holy Word

So I stand before You God
I lift my voice because you set me free

So I shout out your name from the rooftops I proclaim
That I am Yours, I am Yours
All that I am I place into Your loving hands
And I am Yours, I am Yours

Here I am, I stand with arms wide open
To the one, the Son, the everlasting God (2x)
Keep it simple. Just love Jesus. -Sister Ali

I'm in an old hymns mood tonight.

Farther Along

   1. Tempted and tried, we're oft made to wonder
      Why it should be thus all the day long;
While there are others living about us,
Never molested, though in the wrong.
          * Refrain:
Farther along we'll know more about it,
            Farther along we'll understand why;
Cheer up, my brother, live in the sunshine,
We'll understand it all by and by.
   2. Sometimes I wonder why I must suffer,
Go in the rain, the cold, and the snow,
When there are many living in comfort,
Giving no heed to all I can do.
   3. Tempted and tried, how often we question
Why we must suffer year after year,
Being accused by those of our loved ones,
E'en though we've walked in God's holy fear.
   4. Often when death has taken our loved ones,
Leaving our home so lone and so drear,
Then do we wonder why others prosper,
Living so wicked year after year.
   5. "Faithful till death," saith our loving Master;
      Short is our time to labor and wait;
Then will our toiling seem to be nothing,
When we shall pass the heavenly gate.
   6. Soon we will see our dear, loving Savior,
      Hear the last trumpet sound through the sky;
Then we will meet those gone on before us,
Then we shall know and understand why.

and this lady just brings tears to my eyes to hear her sing it

I've seen a lot of murders in my christian walk
But they were never done with a knife or a gun, all it took was a little talk
I could never understand why anyone would want to run down someone's name
This tongue is a little member, but it kindles a great big flame

So go ahead and throooooow if you are a sinless man
Go on and throooooow, do exactly what you planned
But make sure he who is without sin strikes the very first blow
And don't just stand there, go ahead and throw
"Do you sing at church?"
"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."

i love that song, ive sang that for years!
Hebrews 12:12-16 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you

:sing: Still wondering why I'm here
Still wrestling with my fear
But oh, He's up to something
And the farther on I go
I've seen enough to know
That I'm, not here for nothing
He's up to something

For some reason, that sounds better in a song than when my wife says it about me. :biglaugh:

Oftentimes my heart's been stirred
By the things that I have heard
About so many who have never heard God's word
And though tears would fill my eyes
All too soon I'd realize
That though my heart was stirred, my life had not been changed

I'm so tired of being stirred about the lost who need to hear
I'm so tired of being stirred that His coming is so near
I'm so tired of being stirred till I cry bitter tears
Lord I'm so tired of being stirred... but not being changed

Have I heard it for so long
That it's just another song
Has the story lost its thrill that I once knew
Lord give me a burden that's so strong
It will last when my tears are gone
I'm tired of what I've been, make me over again

For I'm so tired of being stirred about the lost who need to hear
I'm so tired of being stirred that His coming is so near
I'm so tired of being stirred till I cry bitter tears
Lord I'm so tired of being stirred... but not being changed

We worship You with lips of adoration.  We worship You as a symphony of praise.  Let this temple be a place where Your glory is embraced, as we stand in awe and worship You.

&

Like oil upon Your feet, like wine for You to drink, like water from my heart, I pour my love on You.  If praise is like perfume, I'll lavish mine on You, until every drop is gone.  I'll pour my love on You.

I heart those two songs.
I am activated to pursue His kingdom, not for what it is, but for the absence found within.

Been singing all day.  Well, I did manage to refrain during my meeting, so not all day, but nearly enough.

:sing: Breathe on me.  Breathe on me.  Holy Ghost power, breathe on me.  Yesterday's gone;  today I'm in need.  Holy Ghost power, breathe on me. :sing:

I was just a child, when I felt the Savior leading
I was drawn to what I could not understand
And for the cause of Christ, I have spent my days believing
That what He'd have me be, is who I am

As I've come to see the weaker side of me
I realize His grace is what I'll need
When sin demanded justice for my soul

[Chorus]
Mercy said no
I'm not gonna let you go
I'm not gonna let you slip away
You don't have to be afraid
Mercy said no
sin will never ever take control
Life and death stood face to face
Darkness tried to steal my heart away
Thank You Jesus, Mercy said no

For God so loved the world, that He sent His son to save us
From the cross He built a bridge to set us free
Oh, but deep within our hearts, there is still a war that rages
And makes a sacrifice so hard to see

As midnight fell on crucifixion day
The light of hope seemed oh so far away
As evil tried to stop redemption's flow

[Repeat Chorus]

[Bridge]
And now when heaven looks at me
It's through the blood of Jesus
Reminding me of one day long ago

[Repeat Chorus]

Over all the earth
You reign on high
Every mountain stream
Every sunset sky
But my one request
Lord my only aim
Is that you reign in me again

Lord reign in me
Reign in your power
Over all my dreams
In my darkest hour
You are the Lord of all I am
So won't you reign in me again

Over every thought
Over every word
May my life reflect
The beauty of my Lord
You mean more to me
Than any earthly thing
So won't you reign in me again
Television is proof the people will look at anything rather than eachother

Life would be so much easier without hormones

Lately all i've got is leaving on my mind
Seems that's all I'm thinking bout most of the time
How that soon and very soon I'll leave my troubles far behind
Lately I've got leaving, leaving on my mind

"Yes I sing at church, I sing at home, at work, in the car, at the supermarket, at Wal-Mart..."
