how about a picture from the first recorded TV show.

The Queen's Messenger

In September 1928, W2XB (owned by General Electric's WGY) in Schenectady, NY televised the  first dramatic program in the United States, "The Queen's Messenger," by J. Harley Manners, a blood and thunder play with guns, daggers, and poison. There were more technicians required for special effects than there were actors. In fact, technical limitations were so great and viewing screens so small, that only the actor's individual hands or faces could be seen at one time. Three cameras were used, two for the characters and a third for obtaining images of gestures and appropriate stage props. Two assistant actors displayed their hands before this third camera whenever the occasion demanded

The first vehicle to be driven under it's own power, and which (most) historians agree is the first automobile was designed by Nicholas Joseph Cugnot and constructed by M. Brezin in 1769 in Paris.  It is impossible to get a picture of the actual "car" since none exist and the original vehicle no longer exists.  However, the Conservatoire des Arts et Metiers museum in Paris has a replica of this first automobile, a steam powered "car" designed to move cannons around the Paris streets:

EDIT:  From the Encyclopedia Britannica; Most historians agree that Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot of France was the constructor of the first true automobile. Cugnot's vehicle was a huge, heavy, steam-powered tricycle, and his model of 1769 was said to have run for 20 minutes at 2.25 miles (3.6 km) per hour while carrying four people. . . .

Let's go back to finding a picture of a man dressed as an American Indian using a public pay phone.
I know where a picture meeting this description resides on the net, so I know at least one exists.
Move along, nothing to see here.

OK, it's probably a really hard one to find, so here it is:

If the picture doesn't show, CLICK HERE to see it.

Let's a try another one.

How about a bicycle built for two, but not the usual, one where both people sit side by side rather than one in front of the other.
Move along, nothing to see here.

Babs
