My taskbar disappeared on me this morning and called Dell.

2 hours in and they accomplished nothing but a link for a program to fix my problem.

They couldn't fix it or try to install it, so I took it into my own hands.

Here is the last of the conversation:
> Your Dell Representative has arrived.
> customer Customer accepted request to share screen.
> Dell Representative Rep ID 154733 Reshma has requested system information from customer Customer.
> customer Customer has sent system information to Dell Representative Rep ID 154733 Reshma.

Heh, all those guys just use a flowchart anyway.

Kyle

It's true.  When they take a call, they have a chart they have to go through with scripts provided on them what to say.  Dell won't let hem use common sense.  I know a few smart computer people work at Dell that hate the chart.  If they don't follow it, they get reprimanded, but they don't usually cause it is so dumb.
Stupidity is a global epidemic.
