Theft and Private business

I work part time for a bail bond company.

Recently a bail bondsman posted lots of bail, and never turned in the money, paperwork, photos or anything.  The Bail Bond Company is out almost one million dollars.

I am working with their lawyer to get their name off bonds as we find them - usually after they jump bail. OY!

*sigh*

Criminal charges have been pressed, but the police are not working the case too hard. 

This is a man who had no criminal history at all. He was vetted for a Bond License which has to be approved by the State Supreme Court plus vetting by Law Enforcement for a permit to carry a handgun.

He throws this good record all away for a few thousand dollars? Just don't get it.
