everytime i see the name of this thread if have rolling stones flashbacks . . . "i see a red door and i want it painted black . . ."
oy. some records i wish i could erase from my memory.
as for mother-in-law jokes, as a mother-in-law you ought to know that we really aren't witches. we just love our little boys so much that we feel we must explain wisely how things should be done to properly care for our sons and his children.
of course, i have the perfect daughter-in-law so she wouldn't make any complaints.

Come out of the 50's with the put down jokes. Didn't you know that mothers-in-law are supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread this century?
I must confess, I have never had a single problem with my mother in law. But, I still love mother in law jokes. :-)
Hey Sis...this is the first thread that you said you couldnt find...LOL how about merging the one you made into this one?

:beret:
I do. :-)
I remember when my grandpa had to build a small room up in the attic (It was to store all my grandma's flowers. She made the arrangements for several graves each year). My grandpa always introduced the room as the "mother-in-law room" when showing it. To get to it you had to pull down the folding ladder from the ceiling and then put it back up when done so the hall wasn't blocked.
My last two pastors (prior to my current) would occasionally interject mother-in-law jokes/comments into their sermons. :-)
Yep, I have had a lot of good examples to help guide me through life.
couldn't resist posting this one. lol

I thought of this thread yesterday on my way to Meridian MS. There is a place on Hwy 10 in Alabama up that way where there is a doorway into the side of a hill. It is right behind a mobile home so I have always assumed it is a storm shelter of some sort. It is a really nice looking doorway right in the hillside there.
