<~~~ just waits for the Mother-in-law jokes to start popping up after Sis's last picture/post.

Come out of the 50's with the put down jokes. Didn't you know that mothers-in-law are supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread this century?

World Traveler

I must confess, I have never had a single problem with my mother in law. But, I still love mother in law jokes. :-)

It is a lot of fun.

Hey Sis...this is the first thread that you said you couldnt find...LOL how about merging the one you made into this one?

:bigcheese:

I did?  And I will!

ADDED:  Did a search and this is the only one that comes up, so I guess I can't.

Hmmlm! Wonder why it didn't turn up in the search!

MelodyB

Half the time the search doesnt work....you have to know where the thread is, or know who posted what you are looking for and find it in their profile to get what you want...the search feature has never worked properly for me, so I dont even bother with it.

Methinks this is one of my fav green door pics so far. :thumbsup2:

But as long the thread is being pinkwinked about mother-in-law jokes... I don't like them. Now you know.

And then... here's another green door pic from the DOME in Indy that I forgot to post in here this spring. Oops! ;)

I do. :-)
I remember when my grandpa had to build a small room up in the attic (It was to store all my grandma's flowers. She made the arrangements for several graves each year). My grandpa always introduced the room as the "mother-in-law room" when showing it. To get to it you had to pull down the folding ladder from the ceiling and then put it back up when done so the hall wasn't blocked.
My last two pastors (prior to my current) would occasionally interject mother-in-law jokes/comments into their sermons. :-)
Yep, I have had a lot of good examples to help guide me through life.

Maybe it's just me.... and excuse the daft question, but, why is this in the Singles Discussion board?

singles like doors... they represent opportunity  ;)

green is a color of peace, calm and financial security... I'll take a green door  ;)

My favorites are usually red doors.

I really really really like Mel's photo and daring escapade.

Red doors, green doors...? I like Blue doors, or medieval castle doors... with lots of rocks and wrought iron around...

I like red doors, but here I have seen a lot of strong, thick wooden plank doors with metal rivets that look pretty awesome too.
Sort of like this, but sometimes even better:
