Remembering, returning, recovering what was shut.

Remembering a prayer
remembering something
a decision made
my heart has broken since
can a prayer be reversed?
can it be retaken back?
For once the door  was shut
all windows of heaven closed
so now I ask of the heavens above
that the skies reopen
that I may hear the crys
of the hearts around me
for when I hear their echo
I know the heavens hear me when I pray.
I know the shell will still stand around me.
and what I feel will stay within,
but I want to be able to be sinsitive
to hear their hearts
to place back into words
their cry, to say for them
what must be unsaid.
For when that is done,
I myself realize then
I am in the precense of my friends
and my King.
